Until recently everything worked perfectly – but now my backups are not happening and if I click the Backups tab I get the Critical Error screen and email. Please help.
]]>This plugin looks great. Is there any plan to add a time for scheduling the backups? I see it automatically chose tomorrow at the time I enabled it, which is noon. This is not optimal. Maybe there is a way to adjust this time I’m not seeing.
I’d like to do it at 2:00 AM or something. I realize I can probably just update this property at 2:00 AM in the morning, but it would be nice to be able to set this time. I could probably work on this change in my free time if you don’t plan on making it, but then any plugin updates wouldn’t be possible. I’m sure it would be a small change. It would be a great update!

Thanks for creating this useful plugin.
I have created a backup and it is in DreamObjects.
How do I go about restoring it?
Is it a case of downloading the Zip file and then extracting the files I need and then uploading them via FTP?
Or is there another way?
Thanks

]]>Dreamhost recently upgraded our PHP version to 7.4. When they did, the site worked, but the admin site did not. Admin would throw a 500 error.
Dreamhost support was able to identify that it was the DreamObjects plugin causing problems. We disabled the plugin and the problem resolved (but now no backups, of course).
The error:

How difficult would it be to get this issue resolved? Our backups are down in the meantime (except for the normal Dreamhost backups).
Thanks.

It seemed like there was some issue with a certificate expiring, so I figured I would just reset the plugin and reconnect everything. I reset the plugin, added back in my keys, but now if I go to the Backups page and click the bucket selection dropdown, there are no buckets visible. I even created a new test bucket and that doesn’t show up. I cleared the cache from my WordPress caching plugin along with the cache in Cloudflare, but still the same problem.
I also did the same on another one of my sites and had the same issue.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, DreamObjects Backups.
First, visit your website (https://moodymoons.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://moodymoons.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check for any visible issues.
not sure how to deal with this, the website seems alright ..is this a backup issue? thanks in advance!

]]>Hi – bit of an odd problem here. My site suddenly stopped doing scheduled backups. When I do a manual backup, everything seems to work fine. But the scheduled backup ends on the following line in the log:
NOTICE: If the log stops here, PHP failed to create a zip of your wp-content folder. Please consider increasing the server’s PHP memory, RAM, or CPU.
The site is 448 MB and the resulting ZIP file is 324 MB (according to the manual backup that worked just a day before the scheduled backup). Nothing has changed between the manual and scheduled backups and I never had any problems like this before (with approximately the same size website). This all started happening sometime in March.
Any thoughts?

In wordpress, in the admin panel for the dreamobjects plugin, when you click on any of Dreamobjects or Backups, the page has no info. No settings appear, or anything. Only this: As of June 21, 2018, DreamObjects has moved to a new datacenter. The DreamObjects Backup Plugin has automatically begun using the new datacenter, but you will need to migrate existing data to the new cluster on your own. In order to prevent possible file collisions, it is recommend you migrate your old files to a new and differently named bucket.
The plugin seems to be working behind the scenes as I can see my backups in the Dreamhost panel, but there is nothing there in wordpress.
I’m using: WordPress 4.9.3.
And the latest plugin version.
I use this plugin on a lot of sites, but as of lately it stopped working. Just tried installing it on a few sites and I get this error message.
“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
I thought this plugin was reliable and wanted to use it massively for quite a few sites to back them up on DreamObjects, but I guess I cannot rely on it. Too bad there isn’t an official plugin by DreamObjects..
]]>Hi!
I have installed this plugin some week ago and I had never noticed it never really did any back up to my bucket. I inserted both keys from Dreamhost panel, I enabled weekly automatical back up and I get a greyed out box at the bottom of the plugin window saying ‘back up in progress’. It even told me a backup was scheduled for tomorrow at 6 pm. Even if I disable the automatic backup, I still won’t be able to let me manually start a backup for that greyed out box. I spoke to dreamhost and they suggested I look for help in here. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
Hi,
The latest update has broken this plugin on our site. I’m now seeing the following error on every backup attempt:
Error: Class 'Aws\S3\Model\MultipartUpload\UploadBuilder' not found
It seems like it may be the upgrade of the AWS SDK from v2.x to v3.x. From what I can tell the UploadBuilder
class was removed in v3 (at least I can’t find it in the v3 docs).
Interested if others are experiencing this too, and what can be done to solve it.
Thanks
]]>The settings page is rendering empty for me. I’ve tried uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling it with the latest version. I even created a new DreamObjects user & bucket and then input the new key & secret key credentials. The weekly automated backups were working just fine before.

some sites just display a 500 error page and i have to again delete the plugin.
Just wanted to report my experiences.
