Why was the plugin removed from www.ads-software.com pending review? Is there a security issue?

When I deactivate the plugin. The page performance is a fast to load.

When I activate the plugin the website is slow to load.

Seeing two websockets that never complete loading in Safari:
presence.api.drift.com
14265501-1.chat.api.drift.com

I left the page open to try to complete for over half an hour but neither ever completed. Consequently all the js inside $(window).on(‘load’) never fires.

I thought maybe it was related to a CORS policy issue found before while using the CDN on WP Engine, but that has since been cleared up.

A reload fixes the problem, but clearing the cache or opening in a Private window. Kind of at a loss here.

I am researching updating my WordPress site to a headless CMS configuration using Frontity and am wondering if the Drift plugin is compatible with the WordPress REST api?

We are suddenly receiving CORS notices in the browser console which is preventing Drift Chat bot from working. How can we resolve these errors?

Is there a way to set the Drift chat so that users can chat each other privately? The site is using Dokan with vendor being the only role a registered user can have.

Just here to report font-display wanrings from the Driftt plugin when running Lighthouse performance audits.

Basically the plugin needs to be updated to use the font-display property when using the @font-face rule when adding fonts.

The font-display property and use in performance is found in this google documentation: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/02/font-display

The fix is very simple and would remove those from all performance/lighthouse audits.

Thanks for the great plugin! However I really need to be able to disable it from the homepage, is there a code snippet i can add to functions.php that will stop it from loading or is there a setting i have missed?

Each time you make a formal release of your plugin, you should tag a copy of that release��s code. This lets your users easily grab the latest (or an older) version, it lets you keep track of changes more easily, and lets the www.ads-software.com Plugin Directory know what version of your plugin it should tell people to download.

Please tag your releases! The current release is 3.0.1 (2019-07-17) but the latest tagged version available in SVN is 1.8.4 (2018-07-13).

In fact, you have even written “Stable tag: 3.0.1” in https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/drift/trunk/readme.txt, when that is not a valid tag at all!

Please fix this.

I was testing Drift for a while but want to delete it now. I followed the uniinstall instructions but the code is still in my website code and the chat widget is still poping up. I can’t get rid of it.

Do you know how to delete the code properly?

Your Drift link in top admin bar is visible to all users including Subscribers. I believe it should be whitelisted for users that have admin privileges.

Can you please make the option to display the chat only in certain post types/pages? for example display the chat box only in home page or in posts with certain post types.

Just installed the plugin and I’ve spotted some deprecation notices around get_currentuserinfo() methods that are inserted in the head.php.

Starting with WP 4.5.0 we should use wp_get_current_user() instead. Will it be possible to fix this and release a new version?
