Description:Rafie Muhammad (Patchstack) discovered and reported this Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in WordPress DIVI Section Enhancer Plugin. This could allow a malicious actor to inject malicious scripts, such as redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into your website which will be executed when guests visit your site. This vulnerability has not been known to be fixed yet.

I love how the plugin works for desktop, but the “deactivate on mobile” option just doesn’t work. Instead of the image background that I set, I’m still just seeing the black screen with the pre-loader.

Hello, yes the subject has already been posted, but more precisely I would like to be able to simply deactivate it on mobile because the option offered by divi does not work, despite the visibility deactivated on mobile, it still appears.
I read that an option should have arrived in the next updates, but this is 7 months ago, any news? ??

I can’t see the Divi Section Enhancer options in advanced /css.

Does it have something to do with the fact that the default language of my website is Spanish?

I have a video section when you first visit my page. I had been loading the video from my server before, but I switched to YouTube and your plugin. I haven’t made any changes, but it no longer works. Your plugin and others have been updated, but aside from plugin updates, no other changes have been made since setup.

I wish I had noticed when exactly it failed so that I could be sure if it was an update on your side or one of the others, but I can’t for certain.

The video doesn’t start on Safari on iPAD.

I bougth the pro version. Installed the plugin and activate it. Then I tried to put in the license code bij clicking the link license in the plugin screen. Doing this returns an error message WordPress error ‘U heeft geen toestemming om deze pagina te bekijken.” in English this means I have no rights to got to that page. Is there someone who knows what to do about this error ?

I bought your plugin so I can use stacks… it’s great, however none of the link targets are actually working. I was hoping to have each section reveal it’s self when you either scroll or click on the menu link. Is this something that’s possible??

Hi,
I have an issue when the tab is not in focus.
When the end of the video is reached the video is not looping – it plays the next video in line. This only happens when the webpage tab is not in focus and while I am using other tabs. If you remain on the same tab the video is looping properly.
Is there any way to go around this?

I tried changing the background color in Divi for the section, but that didn’t work as the background behind the video still remained black.

I got one issue.
I used the parallax option for the video…
But when I scroll down on the page, the text of the section below comes on the video and looks like transparent…
I don’t know why…

Thanks for creating this plugin, and it’s been very helpful. I was wondering if you have a recommendation preventing the YouTube background videos from loading on mobile? I’m aware of the CSS technique, however I’d like to save the page load resources and prevent the video from loading entirely. Thanks!

Hey all — first off, great work on the plugin. The provided sections are great and am looking forward to building with them.

However, I noticed that my site started responding very slowly after activated the plugin, a performance hit that immediately went away after deactivating it.

It seems as though the front-end tries to load all module stylesheets even if the modules aren’t activated, and they all 404 for some reason.

This was causing a couple of second delay on each page load as the browser tried to track down the dozen-or-so ‘missing’ stylesheets.

Anyone else run into this issue?

Hi! The YouTube background plugin works great, thank you! The only issue is that when I hover over the video, it shows a shadow, YouTube info (title, etc.) on smaller versions, and when I click it pauses the video. How can I disable that? Thanks!

My Chrome inspector console is flagging this, and it may be causing mixed content ssl warning;

A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at https://youtube.com/ was set without the SameSite attribute. A future release of Chrome will only deliver cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with SameSite=None and Secure.

My video is not loading. I use Vimeo / Youtube Background well. With the option “Youtube background (deceprated) the video loads well but it is not responsive.

The youtube video on this page just has the spinning icon that it never finishes loading. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and it’s still not working. I was using the depreciated video background option but it’s still not working with the new one.

When using the youtube video, it is not responsive on mobile devices and looks awful.
How can we make it responsive or at least CENTER the video

I am using a full width section with a full width header module. I have the YouTube video background on the section and an overlay on the full width header module. When I am on mobile and my mobile menu drops down, I cannot click on any links in the menu. It actually pauses the video when I touch the screen. I tried messing with some z-indexes on a ton of different elements and I cant get my mobile menu to be clickable.

I’m playing around with the Divi theme and I came across this Section Enhancer which has several of the key features I need. One thing I wanted to ask about was if the video background feature could be used with Vimeo instead of YouTube? Is there an alternate version of this plugin that supports vimeo?

Video isn’t playing not sure why – please help ??
