When you update this great plugin, do not forget to include the seism date translation option.
]]>Cris,
Time to update. You got a nice little plugin, please don’t give up on it ??
I know life is tough in Covid time. Hopefully you can work on improving this plugin and make it greater than it is.
]]>We have the Earthquake widget in our LEFT SIDEBAR. The UPDATED date and time is not showing correctly no matter what we set the widget options to. We are in Pacific time zone and have the widget settings as:
TimeZone: America/Los Angeles
Date Format: D j M H:i:s (T)
Assume this is a bug?
Thanks
]]>The plugin creating an errorlog and eating Diskspace in our hosting plan. We have to stop using it if this issue is not fixed.
Too bad, this used to be a good plugin.
]]>Cris,
Is there a way to contact you directly, the plugin is sending errors in the errorlog and eating up space in Diskspace. I like to share them with you, just in case you can make sense of them ?? Can I email you directly? I also contacted you on your site ??
Today I found a very good video on you tube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEmDwflQ3xE
In which https://observablehq.com/ was used to render map, I think it was something related with javascrip can this functionality can be included in the future release of this great product. One thing that draw my attention was it’s free from google api.
Hi Cris,
It’s that time of the year when the plugin needs to be updated to be compatible with the latest WordPress.
Thank you and I hope everything is going well with you ??
]]>No matter what parameter I use with earthquake monitor I keep getting the following error:
Error [eqmonitor] : 0 attribute is unknown. Please refer to the documentation for valid attributes.
what is need to fix and have it to work right?

]]>Hi Cris,
We tried upgrading our site to PHP 7.2.4 and the plugin started showing the following error:
“Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in wp-content/plugins/earthquakemonitor/EarthquakeMonitor.php on line 422″
We were on PHP 7.0.29 before. Is there a way to make the plugin compatible with the latest PHP 7.2.4?
Thank you,
John
The sortcode would allow me to better utilize HTML – CSS with the Siteorigins environment. I would like to create a border around the monitor to help emphasize importance. I am using the Siteorigin PageBuilder and plugins.
]]>Our hosting company shut down our site as it was artificially consuming a lot of resources that it was threatening to take down the shared server.
This is what they said:
“Your site’s calls to the database – to pull and add information to it, are taking way too much time.
Due to this the server’s resources have to be occupied by your site for long periods of time, which cannot be allowed on a shared server.
The queries that we see as slow are primarily related to the earthquakemonitor plugin, which is why we recommend to disable it.”
We disabled it, and they will be monitoring the site again. I have a question for you: Do you think the plugin is doing it or are they trying to pin it on your plugin?
I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.
]]>On the bottom where it says:
Updated on Tue 03:17:06 (UTC)
Is there a way to change it from UTC to PT or any other time zone?
Thanks.
]]>Cris,
Is it possible to localize the plug in?
We live in Los Angeles and it would be nice to list all minor and major earthquakes in the area!
Like this one: https://scedc.caltech.edu/recent/Maps/Los_Angeles.html
I hope to hear from you soon,
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
I love your plug in. It’s a great service to areas that are prone to earthquakes. When are you going to update it to be compatible with this version of WordPress? ??
Also, for future updates, is it possible to add graphics? Maybe one image that we can change occasionally!
Thanks.
There is no feed coming through. Pity, my students loved this on the website
