The aspect ratio does not change well, everything must be done manually

Flawless execution, profile photo works perfectly, very easy to add in the User Profile page. It shows up now wherever the author is listed. SO EASY. Thank you, thank you!

Plugin provides nice interface to add author photo, we have a ton on our site so it helps a lot. We had a hiccup on our site where we couldn’t add new author images for some reason. Author was able to quickly identify the kink we had and personally fixed.

The plugin doesn’t work anymore. You can still set a user profile image, but it no longer gets used by WordPress on blog posts.

This plugin does not work any more. It hasn’t been updated for 2 years.

It seems to work, except it cuts off the left edge of the author bio. Not sure how to fix that, but if I can’t then I won’t be able to use it.
Anyone have any ideas?

This Plugin “Easy Author Image” Version 1.5 shows hidden email adresses from the comment writers as an ALT-Tag in content. Directly after the Gravatar URL. After deactivation of your plugin, the hidden email adresses are no more in open content. Check out my website: Fix: WordPress Gravatar macht E-Mail Adressen ?ffentlich I have written an article about that problem (in german only)

Excellent – it truly does work out of the box!
The only reason why I haven’t given it 5 stars is because the media uploader is very confusing to use – I’d recommend that the plugin author updates this to use WordPress’ latest version of this.
Thanks!

Dropped this in place, activated it, and the only problem I had was that the directory wp-content, needed to be secured (ownership changed) to that of the web-server user (apache:apache). Once I did that… whammo it worked fine.
I was a little confused as to why, after I’d uploaded the image, it didn’t automatically set it as my profile picture… but I just had to press the [Make this my Author Profile Picture] button… at the bottom.
The plugin-author should change the button color to something really glaring (green/red/blue)… rather than the pale grayish color (don’t use any theme color).

I upgraded to the newest version and it fixed the problem I was having with he older one..I tihink think could be part of wp no? Anyway, the plugin works perfectly and like it says….had some problems installing it but that was my fault for not reading the instructions! B) The only thing that I cant figure out is the default picture on the discussions page shows the same picture ofr all of them. Maybe its just my site?

Instructions are vague and support is lacking.

Hey, folks! As long as your theme is working with Gravatars correctly, Easy Author Image will automagically correct the urls in your author fields.

Easy to use and a useful plugin. Flagged a minor bug and the author fixed it straight away. Great support and a great plugin!

I tried Author Image plugin but after I updated WordPress it did not work. I downloaded this plugin and could upload my own avatar. I like it very much it is very easy to use, could benefit from instant upload instead of pushing button but that is a small feature.
