Hi there
I am wondering if and how to set a size limit when an user is uploading a file that has to be sent to me with Easy Contact Forms.
I understand that all the files received by upload metod via contact forms are stored into our server so I am just wondering is somebody wants to make a damage lets say uploading 1 Gb of useless file.
How can I do if I want for example limit the max uploading file up to 2 Mb?
Thanks in advance
Donald
Hi,
I;ve watched teh video tutorial on ‘client data’, they briefly mention doing this part never mention why really. I can’t find any documentation on the website(seems rather strange not to havedocumentation available).
So was does this actually do? Why do we need to process an entry?
Greetings All,
One of the function of the newest site is creating a ‘resource request’ section. So if someone needs some specific help on a project, they can post a request on the site. Then that request gets displayed to anyone who wants to check. After some looking around, I didn’t see this ability with the forms. I’m pretty sure it’s something not asked often but hopefully it’s a simple “Oh, just use this shortcode!” type of answer that i just blindly missed reading somewhere ??
Essentially: How do I display the results of a specific submitted form on a page?
Hello. Our team has discovered a XSS vulnerability. You must escape form values ??to provide fix. Here is a sample form, which can be used to reproduce the problem:

Put appropriate field IDs. Setup one required field and leave value attribute empty. To another field insert next value:
value="1' onmouseover=alert(123) bad='" />
Now you can submit created html form and alert function will run

Hi there
Well it looks a little worryingly like the plugin is no longer supported (?) given the whole account suspended message on the plugin website. BUT, perhaps another user can help me out here…
We need to use an SSL cert to secure the page that the form sits on, and this is fine, until we add the recaptcha. For some reason the recaptcha is trying to be loaded from the standard http rather than https, and therefore its not loading the recaptcha at all. This means forms can’t be submitted, so for the time being I’ve had to turn the recaptcha off. Is there a setting or something that I’m missing to tell the form that it needs to use the https variant of the recaptcha? If not, what can I do here? Surely others out there have used an SSL secured page for their forms and need the anti-spam recaptcha tool!
Any help really appreciated.
All of a sudden I”m getting an Account Suspended message
I saw an “account suspended” notice when I clicked on the “contact forms” link on the dashboard but the contact forms still seem to be working.
I dont know what the account suspension is for, what it means in terms of whether the plugin will still work or how to fix it. I really need my contact forms to be working.
Any ideas why this has happened or how long it will take to fix it??

Is it possible to track form submissions with analytics tools like Google Adwords or Piwik? I’d like to treat a given form submission as a sales lead and track it in relation to a advertising campaign.

Dear Support and Forum users,
I am using easy contact forms for one of the woocommerce website. One of the major problem facing is unable send the form submit notification email to the form submitted users.
I need to know how to set this up to working, so that who ever sends the contact us form data they can receive the submitted details to their email id’s.
This was working earlier, but suddently stopped working and i did tried to see modify the fields but not working.
Any help towards fixing this would be appreciated.

Some characters are displayed in HTML in the notification email. Three common characters with this issue are: ampersand, quote, and parentheses. If someone types “Jupiter” in the form, the notification email will read: "Jupiter."
I’ve been experiencing a very frustrating problem whereby File Upload fields that aren’t set as “required = true” do not display the visual success tick when a file has been uploaded.
It works fine for fields marked as required, however we have optional file uploads and without the visual indication of success the form is rendered almost unusable.
I’ve tried looking into the code and I’ve traced my way through the easy-contact-forms-forms.1.4.9.js main class and this.addValidation() / this.addMessages() functions yet the issue seems to originate back at the database storage level when you save the field details in the admin. The information stored in the database is incorrect and it seems that something in the save process is buggy when “required = no”.
Here is my example form with optional + required file uploads down the right hand column.

Hello,
I have created ,put permissions_directories and index.html to 777, still have this message in the form field: “It is not possible to create the folder. Please check folder access credentials /”.
Even if I have followed the post for that:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/which-folder-access-is-needed-for-uploading-a-file?replies=2
I have given ‘files’, or ‘Téléchargement'(french name for ‘upload’) for that directory. In vain…
Please help, I do not understand wht is the matter with this simple troubleshooting…

any help is appreciated. I’ve seen many people have had this problem in the past as well.

I think everyone should send themselves a contact form email to check if its working, because the Recaptcha option on our site just doesn’t work anymore now.
The Recaptcha number is keyed in perfectly, but it keeps stating its wrong. (Please try again)
I’ve tried Clear Cache – Doesnt work
I signed into my recaptcha account and noticed the public key and private key were different to what was displayed in the contact fields form admin section. This is very weird as it always used to work.
So I updated them on Easy Contact Forms to what was on my Recaptcha account – It did nothing.
So then I deleted my website from Recaptcha and asked for new public/private keys and updated them on Easy Contact Forms. – It did nothing.
I then noticed that the back end of Easy Contact Forms wasnt saving my keys (Eventually I got it to save them). – It did nothing.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Any help anyone?
How can i setup the email notification accordingly to a droplist
