My site had crashed totally and most likely this plugin was the cause. The admin-page.php file had a syntax error on line 18, an extra comma when there should be none. When I fixed this, my website was back up.
Yeah, I was running an older version of PHP, thanks for pointing that out. Sorry for the bad review, I fixed my rating ??

I am using this plugin for almost 2 years, I liked this plugin until the new version came up and I installed. They changed the whole script and everything for the plugin you cannot use the previous shortcodes. The shortcode id is a joke, after every refresh the shortcode ID change. In short don’t use it for your projects.

Great plugin. Looks good. Works good. Exactly what I needed

…from the native WP image gallery. Why use this?
You cannot jump from one image to the other. The gallery just adds the images to your page with a link to the full sized image file….WP can already do that out-of-the-box.
An image gallery should have the feature of moving from one picture the other in full-size!

Hi,once add a photo to gallery and remove it and add it again and remove it do it again and again. After that add one more image and remove. Finally remove all the images and save. You can find all the images are getting saved from the comma seperated hidden variable “image_gallery”.I fixed from my end please find the same for comment below.

Very easy to use plug-in that does the job. One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s slightly off centre. I had a single image above which was centralized and then a gallery of 2×2 images below and it was noticeable. Tried centralizing in the editor but it does nothing. I’m sure there’s a simple fix for this.

I have four WP websites, which are all image rich. I’ve hunted around and used countless galleries trying to find a simple to use plugin, which has all the features you could want. At last I found EasyImageGallery which fills the need. A great plugin, highly recommended. And when there was a glitch (caused by external issues), Andrew was super prompt and helpful fixing it up.

I have a folder bursting at the seams with image gallery plugins that just don’t do the simple, elegant things I want from a gallery. Easy Image Gallery, thanks to quick and attentive support from the developer to fix an issue I had around captioning, will be my go-to plugin for lots of projects where I need a simple, uncluttered way to present a series of images. I’ll be typing Sumobi into the WP search bar when I look for any plugin.

Simple easy fast gallery to my wpmu dev marketplace.

I tried 3 gallery plug ins. They were unnecessarily complex and unreliable. This one just worked immediately. Create a post, there’s a gallery window underneath. Very straightforward. 5 stars.

This was a nice plugin that we used for years, unfortunately after it was updated four days ago it’s causing javascript errors that disable much of our site, hence we had to retire it/ swap it out. Best avoided until such time the dev resolves this. (Review updated: 10 Jan 2020)

Usually use Nextgen for more complicated galleries, but was looking for hours for a really simple wordpress gallery that made use of the media library and was easy for a website owner to to use and found this brilliant gallery plugin.
It worked straight out of the box, thumbnails look great and sat nicely on the page (no ugly borders), comes with a builtin lightbox that allowed for easy css modifications and is super easy for anyone to add, remove and order images.
10/10

Followed all the basic install setup. Loaded my media files. they show up in the media box, but get nothing displayed when the page is viewed.
Now is working fine.

The best gallery plugin for developers without all the bloat of NextGen.

I couldn’t center or adjust the album in any way. When I inserted the code, I had an enormous amount of gray area around the photos and I still was not able to center the gallery.
I couldn’t see the photos in the editor without publishing. It would be easier to have the gallery plugin feature to the side of the editor instead of scrolling down. And a mouseover did not give a lightbox appearance – I tried both lightbox settings with no improvement.
There’s also no title and description feature which seems to me should be standard.
Good quick support and code fixes for these if you want to go through the trouble is available, so I’ve increased the rating.

Makes galleries a snap. So happy with the way it looks and that I can have multiple galleries throughout my sites.
Thanks

PS Had a problem and the support came within hours and solved my problem first time. And it had nothing to do with the plugin. The problem was caused by another plugin crashing Java.
