I have disabled “open in tab” in the settings but the javascript to open in new tab is still being added. Same goes for the “noopener” option.

I love the interface. It’s so easy to use:) However, the notification bar is not showing. I got in touch with the theme developer and he placed “wp_body_open” action hook both in the parent’s and child’s theme. He checked with each one, but the notification bar is still not showing.

Any suggestion to make it work?

We use Perfmatters for speed and performance. On a client site, we excluded the Notification Bar from Delay JS, so now it loads right away.?However, the notification bar is actually causing CLS. However, we don’t really want to delay that because then the whole page would shift when you interact with it.

Do you have a recommendation? Or would you consider coding it in a way not to cause CLS?

I’m back with another request for the bar. Is it possible to add items to the bar on the left side? There is a client request to add email address(linked) and phone number(linked) to the notification bar.

First of all thank you for this wonderful plugin, long term user here and can only say great job. I noticed a small issue though, using ocean wp theme here that even if the text is set to a smaller size in mobile and tablet view on the customizer, it applies it to desktop view and all views.

in other words, the plugin is not able to work with the responsive mode, and only accepts one size fits all. Can this be addressed?

hey the easy notification bar text is aligned to the left all the time on mobiel for some reason? Its set to be centred alignment?

I’m using the top bar functionality to display a link to a page unlike others who display announcement, discounts etc. I have searched through the forums and noticed that once you close the top bar, there is no way of bringing it back. I would like to know if there is any way possible to bring the top bar back upon refresh. As I said, I’m using the top bar to give the user an option to visit a page, not announcements.

I saw a closed post on this topic, and and that would be interesting for us.

We use this plugin on webshop, where before Christmas or other holidays, we need to notify the customers, that they can order non-stop, but the orders will be processed after holiday.

Customers close the notification bar, and can order undisturbed. But If they come back to the webshop a few days later, they need to see the notification again.

It would great, If we can change between local / session storage.

The only issue I’m having is how to set the Close Icon colour?

It appears to be black by default so when I try setting my bar background to black, of course I can’t see the close icon but I can see it with any other background colour.

How can I set the colour to a custom colour?
Any way to use a Font Awesome icon for the icon instead of the 2 provided?

One question – is it possible to get an option where once the user clicks on the call to action button, the plug-in no longer shows the notification bar?

I saw this behavior on a different website/plugin, and it’s elegant because the assumption is that once a user clicks on the call to action, they no longer need to keep seeing the notification bar over and over again. (Yes, they can always close it themselves, but this is a more clunky user experience in my view).

Hello, i had setup a simple message (with no button) with a link:

but it doesn’t work, i looked at source code and the HTML is rendered without onclick so only the link to #.

Is this a bug?

Hello, I encountered some problems after updating this plugin to version 1.4.6. The button to close the window doesn’t work anymore and it has created a demon at the bottom of the text! More importantly, the notification close button does not work. Thank you for checking.

Right now if you install the plugin, a placeholder message is immediately displayed across your site. This isn’t very professional-looking for any users who encounter it before it gets configured.

Maybe disable by default?
