Hi, would it be possible to add a gift-aid option (or let me know how to add one, as I can’t find it my end) for countries such as the UK, where donors can choose the option, therefore adding an additional 25p to their donations, for every pound donated? https://www.gov.uk/donating-to-charity/gift-aid
If possible, that would be brilliant if added (or if I could be pointed in the right direction if already there)
Thank you.

]]>Hello, with the new plugin settings I was always getting errors even with a value of more that 1.00
Apparently it’s mandatory to use a “Purpose / Name” otherwise PayPal returns an error about the wrong syntax. Can you please check it out? Thank you.
I also would like to know where is the string “Donation amount” because I need to translate it.
]]>Hi,
When I set to manually enter the price, in the past I have left that filed blank, but now it requests to enter a price even if I set 0, the price is not validated. I just need to leave customer to decide the amount to donate, but I am not able to set this anymore. Can you help?
PS. The page link above entered is showing a button that works correctly. I do not have online not working buttons because I do not want the people to see a “suggested” amount.
PS. This was already set in some of my buttons, but I cannot create it others with the same set.

Hello:
After the update of the plugin to version 1.4, the design of my website (letralia.com) suffered a glitch. It started to look like this:

When I deactivated the plugin, the layout returned to normal, as you can see in this other screenshot:

I have also installed your “Easy PayPal & Stripe Button” plugin, which worked perfectly for me.

]]>I recently installed this plugin and found it very easy to connect to our organization’s PayPal account. I made a button and put the shortcode on a “donate” page, then tested it out by donating $1 – and it worked perfectly!
The dropdown menu option for amounts seems like a useful feature, so I tried that out. Unfortunately, clicking the donate button after choosing a dropdown amount opens up the PayPal page exactly as before, with a displayed amount of $0.
Am I doing something wrong? It seems as though the value from the menu choice is not being passed from the plugin to PayPal.
Thanks for any help! I hope I’m just doing something dumb (or failing to do something simple).
]]>I set it up, did a test donation for $1, and it worked! Unfortunately, after pressing the final “Donate” button in Paypal, I just get a blank white screen and the address bar says https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/transfer/homepage/buy/success – so it doesn’t go to my specified return page which is just the website home at https://historicwoodfield.ca
UPDATE: It is working now that I put a trailing slash on the cancel page and made a thank you page that also has a trailing slash. Maybe this is a bug because it should just accept my initial valid url format without the trailing slash. But this is the work-around.

When are you going to update your plug-in to the current version of WordPress?
]]>Hi
Everytime I create button, its there for a few days and then it disappears so have to make a new one.
What’s the point of this and more imprtantly, why?
HELLO!
Accept Donations with PayPal looks like a fine plugin so I added it to my domain.
But when I try to deactivate the plugin, I get a white page with this message: “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
My web host looked into it and determined that the plugin cannot be deactivated on PHP 8 and 8.1, only on PHP 7.
Here is the error:
[18-Oct-2023 16:58:34 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: call_user_func_array(): Argument #1 ($callback) must be a valid callback, non-static method wpedon_wpeasydonation::wpedon_deactivate() cannot be called statically in /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:310
I have deactivated the plugin until I hear from you …
]]>When users click the donate buttons from sites within the Facebook app browser on iPhones, they are receiving a 404 page not found error on Paypal’s site. I found that changing the button form’s method to ‘add’ instead of ‘post’ and also the form’s target to “_blank” resolved this issue and still works on other browsers as well.
I also commented out the https://www.paypal.com/$language/i/scr/pixel.gif img tag because it was annoying seeing that 404 resource loading error in the browser’s console and it didn’t seem to affect the function of the buttons. ??
Hopefully these issues can be addressed in a future update, but this might be a workaround for any others having this issue until then.
