After some reasearch, it looks like even when a number of recurring payments is not specified, the optional field is getting built in the resulting form:
<input type=’hidden’ name=’srt’ value=”>
We had a number of recurring payments cancel themselves because of this today. It appears that if an empty string srt is passed in, only one payment occurs, followed by cancellation.
I’m uncertain how to remove this from the form, however.
]]>Entering any valid value (1W, 1M, 7D) under “Regular billing cycle” on the Subscription Data tab is not actually saved. When you leave the page and come back, the value is lost and no row for pt3 or t3 appears in the database under product_meta table.
This causes subscriptions not to work, and subscriptions are the major reason I purchased the pro version. I’ve tried sending this issue to the developer via the contact form on his site but have received no reply.
If this isn’t resolved, I’m afraid I’ll have to revoke payment.

I’m experiencing two issues here…
1). I seem to be having trouble getting any data I input to save. I’ve added a product which does show up in the store but does not show in the products section of the back end.
Also, none of the paypal credentials I enter will save either. As soon as I navigate away from the config tab and return, the data has returned to the default EZ Paypal details.
2). I’m using the lite version but can’t seem to find the default pages mentioned that can be editied.
All round, it’s the plugin I’ve been looking for! Just need clarity on these 2 issues mentioned.

]]>Been trying to configure Easy PayPal (and WordPress for that matter) @ arpayzant.ca. The site is hosted by dotcanada.ca which uses Litespeed web server.
With Easy PayPal, I get a 403 error when trying to save the settings with my “Order cancelled” page configured. I have my PayPal id configured. Actual message is:

Forbidden
Access to this resource on the server is denied!

I′ve tested many others without success, and I can really say that your plugin is easy and simple to setup and has a good / clean design.
I am a basic user and I really want to become a premium soon, as soon as my profits from my website increase. And It should′t take so long.
I am having this issue when someone buys my ebook. Download usually DOESN′T work and I immediately have to manually send through email, by viewing the buyer′s email at paypal.com.
I′d like to know how I could actually fix this glitch and If not possible, If that is an option of Automatic sending the file thru email whenever someone BUYS the ebook.

]]>I’m not 100% positive if this problem is with the plugin or paypal– but I’m not receiving any sort of email confirmation when I do test transactions. No paypal confirmation, and no download email (unless those are supposed to be the same message, in which case I’m just not getting that message).
I want to upgrade to the pro version because everything else is working well, but I find it really hard to consider using a product where, should the user accidentally close the window, their purchase can just… vanish.
Is there some configuration that I’ve missed? Some step I need to take or tag I should insert? I’m honestly not sure what to make of this.

]]>I have installed EZ Paypal LITE (v6.36) at a WP site for members to pay their subscription.
I need to see the IPN data returned by Paypal, so I can update the DB.
“return.php” is unreliable, because it is not always triggered (like after the FireFox warning about ‘unsecure site’).
Which EZPayPal script is the one that Paypal is supposed to use for IPN notification in the background?
Can I set this somewhere?
Or does the LITE version not have this functionality?

I’ve upgraded and got a fatal error, I don’t have time to investigate it right now but one of the files for sale is several years old and I have realised I don’t have a backup copy. Can someone tell me where in my file structure I will find uploads, so I can retrieve a copy via ftp?
I just received a fatal error, yesterday, when I upgraded Easy PayPal plugin. It said I needed to upgrade to PHP 5.4 from the version I have.
Can you tell me how to do that? Should I contact my web host service? Or can you tweak the plugin to be backwards compatible. At present, I have it deactivated, and won’t otherwise know when I can use this plugin again.

1. extra questions before purchase (e.g. who is the product bought for, any special messages etc)
2. Ability to dynamically produce a document (so that the Gift Voucher that I design in CSS will be filled in with the Recipient’s details and the ordering person will receive it in pdf).

I copy paste the link from the product page (from my E-Shop and clicking on the Id column in any product row) for the purchases. It looks something like this:

WhenI click on the link, it works, directs me to paypal. However when I logout from my WP admin account and try again, I get the following error (and of course same for the customers):
Not Authorized!

I just tried to install EZ PayPal – as it has exactly the features I need – I got the following error:
This plugin needs direct access to its files so that they can be loaded in an iFrame. Looks like you have some security setting denying the required access. If you have an .htaccess file in your wp-content or wp-content/pluginsfolder, please remove it or modify it to allow access to the php files in /home/genevaph/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-paypal-lte/.
If EZ PayPal still cannot load the admin page after forcing it, please deactivate and delete the plugin. It is not compatible with your blog setup.
So I checked the wp-content and plugins folder: there are no .htaccess files there
Any other suggestions? I also have woocommerce set up, could that be the reason?

Your update to Easy AdSense eliminated my Custom Google search bars on my site and I cant get them back. I’ve entered the Google AdSense code into your box on the setup page. I’ve confirmed it was right in the widgets settings. Still, I get nothing. No search bars at all. It was working awesome with your old version. Why did you change it?
]]>Hello, I just downloaded Ez Paypal from the admin/plugins page. I then activated the plugins and headed over to the settings and then to the Ez Paypal Lite button. It then directed me to a blank page.
I tried deleting the plugin and re-downloading it, but still nothing.
