Hello, and thanks for this nice and easy to use plugin.
I have a problem with widget thumbnails. from what I understand, the photo used is a photo included in the post ? Most of my posts don’t have a picture, but all of them do have a featured image (because my theme uses this feature).
So is there an easy way to pull the featured image to be used as a thumbnail in the sidebar widget ?

Is there a way to limit the number of tags the options page loads? In my case I do need to use that option?

The images are not cropping in the sidebar widget.
I set image to hard crop 250×250 but they are coming out at the same size they were before. I do not host these images on my server.
I place this widget directly in the loop and not in sidebar.
I use current wordpress and NewsPress Theme

I’ve installed the plugin and really like the functionality… except that whenever I try to click on a related post, the screen greys out and it tries to appear in a lightbox of some kind but then fails with error.
Any ideas what’s going on?

]]>Is there a way of having the plugin search by tag first, then by category? Meaning not having to chose one or the other?
Having a few smaller blogs, means that the related post boxes only have one or two posts in them.
I would like to use tags first, then if there are still spaces in the related posts template (I would like 8 to 12 related posts to appear) fill with related posts by categories … that would be wonderful.
Apart from that, this plugin is very user friendly and I am liking it a lot!

Hi, I’ve updated the plugin and all our font customisation has been stripped. We were calling it through ‘body .erp_con_ttl’ and ‘.erp_h2’in the theme css but those identifiers are no longer in the plugin code since erpFrntendStyle.css changed to bootstrap and bootstrap-text. I’ve put ‘.erpProContainer h2’ where I had ‘.erp_h2’ and while it pickups the ‘uppercase’ command it refuses to recognise the font even with an !important;. Are you able to advise how to change the font on the title (ie RELATED POST) above the thumbs and on the post titles below the thumbs? Many thanks. ]]>I never use the Featured Image for a number of reasons. I have the Special Recent Posts widgets pulling thumbnails, but Easy Related Posts is not, assuming it’s looking for the featured image?
Right now I am just using the title text for Easy Related Posts at https://www.americansorghum.com and would love to be able to have thumbnails as well.
I did see a support issue where photon was an issue and I am using photon, but I still believe this is more to do with the Featured Image?

]]>When I select the layout option of “Thumbnail, title” or any other option that uses a thumbnail, I end up seeing the title for each of the related posts twice. If I check the “Use thumbnail caption” option, only one title appears, however it isn’t the title I believe is supposed to be showing. It appears with what seems to be some coding ( “> shows up at the end of each title). I’ve tried several layout options and none of them seem to correct the issue. This did not happen prior to the 2.0.0 update. Any suggestions?

]]>When Easy Related Posts (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-related-posts/) is activated it conflict in the Admin Dashboard with Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp/). It causes several sections of the Google Analytics to extend outside of the Dashboard Widgets boundaries.
I know it is Easy Related Posts which conflicts, as the problem did not begin until I installed it, and when I deactivate Easy Related Posts, the problem with the Google Analytics Dashboard disappears. I could send a screenshot, if necessary.
I truly like Easy Related Posts because it works the best with my site and is extremely easy to use. Could you please investigate this conflict?

The bottom right image looks out of place.
I think it could be due to the fact that not all images are of the same dimensions?
Perhaps try to reproduce it using my exact images?
