Hi everyone,
I searched the various threads to see if anyone else had a similar problem without finding a solution. When I click on the drop-down menu the page seems to reload automatically. As a result, the menu closes and becomes unusable.
Someone could help me, please?
(P.s: I’m sorry for my terrible english!)
This topic has been mentioned twice in the forum but did not get a reply,
So I am posing the question again just for your attention and solution,
The menu works just fine on pc browser, but on a mobile device, the dropdown does not toggle or open.
Waiting for some a solution,
Ashraf
is there a way to make the “header” menu in a dropdown menu, works like the toggle of the dropdown menu, and still have the sub menus works with the correct link and class?
i looked around in the JS and PHP, and got the header to action on dropdown, but can figure out how to make submenu works as links. Due to they have the same class, the links in submenus are not working as attented to ??
Dear support/guys who use this plugin
I noticed that if the menu you want to display has children (submenu) the plugin displays all the children and then the correct accordion menu.
I don’t know why, i’m using enfold by kriesi.
TO AVOID this, i added a row of custom css:
#top .widget_nav_menu .nested_nav {
display: none;
}
Someone is experiencing this?
Thank you,
Marco
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have the website vlielandvantoen and use your WordPress menu plugin. I have a question and hope you can help me with it.
When I click on a menu, a submenu opens. When I click on a link the webpage will open but the submenu will close again. I added 2 images to make it a bit clearer. Is it possible after I clicked the link to keep the submenu open?
I hope you can help me.
Anyway, thank you very much for your effort and making your product.
Kind regards,
Hans Euverman

Hi
I use this plugin as a shop sidebar for categories.
How can I display how many products is in each category?
Hello,
I am trying to utilise this plugin on a bilingual site (English & Bahasa Indonesian) however I cannot get it to work.
My methods are to – create both English and Bahasa Indo. versions of the menus I want to use, then select the desired menu on the Easy Sidebar Menu Widget, select the pages under ‘WordPress Pages’ I want the menu to display on, then select the correct language, save. I do this for the corresponding menus/languages.
When I attempt to do this the menus either don’t appear or they jump to the bottom of the page.
Can you give any advice?
Thanks
Hello, I love this plugin, so I hope I will get help.
Problem:
By selecting a menu category, it is selected, but when I select a product, assigned to this menu, the selection disappears and it is not known in the inventory which menu the product belongs to.
Currently, the first two lines from the menu are active, where you can check the problem.
Do you know the cause of this problem?

Greetings,
In our organization, each department has its own color scheme.
For instance, some departments have cornsilk background color with green text color; some have blue background color with white text color, etc.
Is there any custom css available to help us customize each sidebar?
As you know, easy sidebar currently has one css class called widget-title and it is hard to have more than one background color or text.
If there is a widget out there that is proven to help solve these sorts of issues, I would greatly appreciate laying a hand on it.
Many thanks in advance.
Hi,
I am having a real issue with my site, all the menus have dropped to the bottom of the page. I’m aware than unclosed
tags can cause this, but this has now happened to literally every menu. The Appearance > Widgets > Easy menu sidebar > ‘visibility’ section seems different. i think when i updated this is changed, but maybe a coincidence.
Please help.
Thanks
Hello everyone!
I’ve got a problem I believed had a solution on other thread, but just to some point and not entirely.
The things is that my menu closes after I select a submenu of level 3.
My menu structure:
Parent menu
Submenu 1
Submenu 2
Submenu 3
After adding JS code given by @wptuki in his thread, When I select submenu 1 or 2, the menu stays open after loading selected page. The parent menu closes when I click one of the submenu 3 pages. To expand it fully again, I need just to click on the parent menu arrow again – then all submenus, including 3, show as expanded already. I’m sure this problem is connected with the parent menu code.
I guess I’m not familiar enough with JS, could someone help me to solve this problem?
I believe this code, found in another topic (by @wptuki), just needs to be modified, but I have really no clue how to do it properly.
Code:
(function($) {
$( document ).ready(function() {
$( “li.current_page_item” ).each(function( index ) {
$(this).parent(‘.sub-menu’).slideToggle(‘fast’);
$(this).parent().parent(‘.sub-menu’).slideToggle(‘fast’);
});
$( “li.current-menu-parent” ).each(function( index ) {
$(this).parent(‘.sub-menu’).slideToggle(‘fast’);
});
});
})(jQuery);
Regards and kisses! ??
Hi, I think I discovered a bug.
As soon as I activate the plugin “Q2W3 Fixed Widget” the CSS of Easy Sidebar Menu Widget breaks (the dropdown menu goes away and turns into a bulletpoint format).
https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/q2w3-fixed-widget
I’m on WordPress 4.9.6. This happens even when an Easy Sidebar Menu Widget is not made sticky with Q2W3.
Anyway, great plugin and not this plugin’s fault. I just wanted to point it out, maybe the plugin authors can team up to figure out the cause and find a fix, not sure what the rule is with plugin incompatibilities. Thanks for the plugin, been using it for a while now ??
Looks like someone else also opened a support ticket about this issue almost 6 months ago. Had not been updated in a while so assuming that this is why. Any plans to update in the future?

I just installed this plugin and it is not working. I only get a list of items in a row. My theme is Responsive by Cyber Chimps.
This plugin hasn’t been updated in a year. Could that be a reason it is not working with new version of WP? Or can it have bugs not fixed?
If someone can shine a light on this or suggested another similar plugin I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Hi,
I have been trying to add an image on easy sidebar widget however, no luck whatsoever.
I have added the native wordpress menu widget with easy sidebar widget and i get the image displayed on native but not on the easy sidebar:
https://prntscr.com/g5j2rt
I have also tried with shortcodes, but the widget displays the shortcode as a text and menu displays as a normal picture (same as example above).
Any ideas?
Great plugin, just one question:
Is there a way to show the menu items horizontally, not vertically? Even touching the .php’s
Great thanks!
Hi,
the Plugin works well on normal Brwosers on the Computer but does not work on mobile devices. Could you help us with that? When we click on the dropdown-arrow it just jumps to the top.
Thanks for your help in advance!
Hi there, I know my issue might be similar to the ones that other people have posted earlier but wanted to elaborate my request.
I have installed this plugin on my left-side menu.
Now, I have three levels of menu
Parent
Menu 1
Sub-menu 1
Sub-menu 2
Initially, only the ‘Parent’ will be seen and when i click on it, it expands to display the Menu 1. Clicking Menu 1 displays its children.
Now, when I click Sub-menu 1, it refreshes to display the page but the entire section collapses to reveal only the ‘Parent’ again.
I would like it to stay expanded and not collapse entirely. It is not the right user experience. If he is on Sub-menu 1, he might want to go into Sub-menu 2 and so on. Why the need to collapse the entire section? Let him have the freedom to close it.
Please let me know how to change the code for this or introduce an updated version with the auto-close disabled. (Note: I am new to coding and learning the tricks. I tried to figure out what code does this but couldn’t get it.)
Appreciate your quick assistance. Thanks!

How I can make that the active menu was open?
Thank you.
Hi. I have payed the Plugin All-in-One WordPress Widget Control. Nice, but i can’t change the hover color in the Easy Sidebar Menu…

Hi there.
Just wondering where I adjust the CSS for this plug-in?
Yes, its in the stylesheet file but typically what are the ID’s and classes etc?
I’m obviously quite a beginner to CSS (and PHP, HTML …) and I’m having trouble identifying the sections that require modification.
I’ve tried using Developer Tools in Chrome but it doesn’t reveal much for me.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Adam
inb4 sorry for bad English
Hi there. I’d like to add some kind of background color for my sidebar menu to create some extra attention to specific part of sidebar. Any chance to make this possible, perhaps, an update with additional options or some lines of code? Thanks for any assistance.
Hi what should i add to the js so the active menu stays open on load?
The spacing for sub-menu item should be more condensed, but in the first two sub menus, it is the same as the main menu items.

The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources:

I am assuming that this is something in easy sideview. Please correct me if not. And if it is, can anything be done to implement the suggestion for specifying expiration at one week or morein future
Hi there.
Just wondering how I can move the text of my menu over to the right a little bit. Not the title but the top-level text.
As it is now, the top-level menu text buts right up against the left edge of the menu box, and isn’t the most reader-friendly or attractive. The child levels are formatted/indented nicely.
I can’t figure out how to attach a screenshot to explain further, but I could email.

Dirty way to fix this:
(function($) {

$( "li.current_page_item" ).each(function( index ) {
$(this).parent('.sub-menu').slideToggle('fast');
$(this).parent().parent('.sub-menu').slideToggle('fast');
