Are you going to upgrade this plugin? I LOVE it, have used it for a few years–but it just started malfunctioning. I’m a blogger, not a coder, but it appears to have been interfering with the new version of Wordfence Security. I had to deactivate Ecstatic, and that was painful. ??
]]>Hi, I just installed ecSTATic and this fatal error below “Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/olahuno/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ecstatic/ecstatic_tables.php on line 218” showed up. I can’t access my site and my hosting company tried to remove the plugin from the backend but it didn’t work. WHAT HAPPENED? WHY IS THIS PLUGIN KILLING MY SITE? Can anyone help?

i haven’t looked at the stats in a couple days, so when i looked at them today and clicked the ‘load latest’ button, i expected to see the stats starting from the lat time i viewed them, but instead none are loaded
am i expecting the wrong thing, or is it not working as intended?
would also suggest an option to load only the latest stats when the pages are loaded so you don’t have to click the ‘load latest’ button. maybe this would also reduce db queries ??? i’m on a shared server and it can sometimes take a long time to load the main page

i tried purging the stats yesterday (manual purge) and apparently nothing happened – no data was removed
today when i logged on i now see well over 100 columns in the graph display for 10-Mar – so i have … 08, 09, then many 10’s (the page now has a horiz. scroll bar)

than i added my IP range in CIDR format and set the WL flag

IMO they really don’t fit in with the details info since everything else there is for a particular ip

]]>I’ve noticed a few visitors coming to my site with IPv6 addresses looking like: 2001:0db8:85a3:0042:1000:8a2e:0370:7334 and getting blocked by ecSTATic with a “Bad IP” message.
Could you perhaps include support for IPv6 addresses in the next patch?

read a thread here that says that only one type of permalink can be logged and that is the reason the R-URI is often blank in the main/visitors page
what i don’t understand though is why the R-URI for the same visitor is shown on the details page? why can’t that also be shown on the main/visitors page?

I keep seeing repeated entries for localhost visits (when the website requests a page from itself), I have had the plugin installed less than an hour and can already see over 40 which is making the logs hard to read…
Is there somewhere I can add an IP ignore list so these don’t get logged?
]]>I thought this was a perfect plugin. I was logged into the site and was activating a backup on my site and it triggered a 403 status on me. I had to login and manually remove the plugin. I’d love to reinstall but not sure if it’s working right for me.

What happens after the number of failed login attempts is reached? Is the 403 page displayed?
I looks like they are still able to get to the login form somehow. At least they are in the activity monitor.
]]>Hi, I had a thought that instead of sending maleagents to a 403 page that they could be sent to a honeypot, specifically a Project Honeypot pot. My thought would be that it would be an option to either 403 or honeypot.

I checked my spam folder and also spam on the server but still no email. Could you please tell me what to look for. I have the ‘enable’ email check box checked also. I am WP Multi (networked) but am only using one domain. Could this be the problem?

Just started using this plugin and like what I see very much. One problem though is that no pages are shown that are viewed. It shows every page viewed is the home page when I know that is not the case. I use custom templates a lot, so I am wondering if base footer or header code is not properly installed? I could not find the ‘tracking code’ used, so I could insert this into the proper custom templates if I knew what it was? Is this the problem?

this looks good but I need to know how many tables it adds per blog and if it can be changed so that it does not create separate db tables for each blog as that may lead to unnecessary blowing up the size of the DB since it is an open installation where anyone can sign up…
also it would be really cool to allow the site admin or super admin to set up most options and only give access to blog owners to a few options since there are options I don’t want them to mess with, i.e. the automatic deletion of logs after a certain time, etc…
also allowing the super admin to see all stats while blog owners only see their own stats would be great.
