Hello,
After struggling with adding ApplePay (with Stripes) on my Website, I found Ecwid and have been loving it, not just because now I have ApplePay but it’s a timesaver, until I learn about coding a website.
My issue is this: While the storefront looks great, it’s not pointing to my real domain. I need that to happen so search engines can crawl my site. I Googled it and learned that I needed to point the Ecwid store to the WP IP (https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/setting-custom-a-records/). To do that I had to go to My Sites, which is nowhere to be found. Please help.

Disabled products are being pulled and showing under the random shortcode. Also the pricing that displays isn’t the updated pricing from the catalog. Not sure how to get this fixed and for it to update. Do I need to uninstall the plugin and reinstall for it to pull all updated products everytime I make changes?

I like the widget, however when the random products come up and you click on a product it defaults to the store not the category or the particular product page itself. Therefore it is only good if using the widget as a sales tool to get you to your store which could be done a different way and not good for a point of sale. Is this the way it was meant to be or am I missing something.

Random Products widget in the sidebar stops the site from loading. Using 0.8beta8 version of plugin, and ECWID plugin v2.6.
Noted that this problem was previously reported and is listed as fixed.
I cannot leave the site with the widget loaded, since it becomes completely inaccessible.

Hello,
Adding new products, but they aren’t updating in our display of new products, even after clearing server-side and client-side caches.
Here is our code for displaying new products. It is working (displaying newest products at the time we added this code), except not showing the very latest products after adding some products:

The Random Products feature of Ecwid Product Advisor generates images like this:

There is supposed to be an alt="" somewhere in there.

Just updated to WP 3.7, and updated Ecwid Shopping Cart plugin from 1.8.1 to 2.0, and this broke my shortcode for Random Products:

When I first installed the plugin on my client’s site the Latest Products widget was working fine. Then one day it stopped working and gave the error

In addition whenever someone visits the site while the widget is active I receive an email that says

What can I do to fix this and get Latest Products working again? The client does have a paid Ecwid account.
]]>We have an issue with our pricing relating to this plugin. The issue is as follows:
As a UK company, we use VAT which is an inclusive tax. The settings have been correctly set in Ecwid.
Your plugin currently displays the exclusive prices and not the inclusive prices which is causing issues when people click from a product they view from your plugin as the price they see initially is not the price that the product actually is.
Can you fix this, or is there a work around (besides altering all tax settings in Ecwid)

After updating to the latest Ecwid Plugin for WordPress widget provided by Ecwid the entire backend was inaccessible. The screen was completely blank for all admin tasks – not even the wordpress top info bar was being displayed.
It may be a case of sequence, which I have assumed from the method that I have corrected it.
1) renamed the actual folders of ecwid product advisor and ecwid plugin via FTP
2) Logged in successfully as all screen data was being displayed.
3) re-renamed ecwid plugin via ftp and re-activated it in wordpress = result = all ok apart from ecwid product advisor error on chosen display page
4) re-renamed ecwid product advisor back to original name via FTP and then activated plugin – cleared cache and refreshed public page. Result = all working again now.
It may be worth having a look to see what the root cause is as other less experienced folk may have issues.

When you run the W3C Markup Validation Service on a page that has Ecwid Random Products, you get one error per product thumbnail:
Line 404, Column 623: required attribute “alt” not specified
img requires the alt attribute.
Could you please add that attribute?

I am having some difficulty accessing the CSS of the random product enabled. I can’t seem to find the file to change anything. I need to remove the padding and text size but cannot do so. My random product is not showing up where and how I want it because of this.

So I’m using it to pull in random products to a page and it works great, the only problem I’m having is that it pulls my images in at different sizes each time. All my images are exactly the same size, so not sure what is happening to cause this.

After I installed the RP plugin, this message appeared: “The cache directory for Ecwid: Random products plugin cannot be created. Please make sure that directory WP/wp-content/plugins/ecwid-useful-tools/cache/ can be created.”
I don’t know where to find the directory or how to alter it to make this plugin work. Can someone please help me?
