This was a great product and made managing multiple sites easier and quicker since we didn’t have to wear our thumbs out scrolling all the time…
However as of late, I am having to deactivate it more and more as it is conflicting more and more with other standard plugins. The most common problem is that it interferes with various plugin admin screens.
The creator for this plugin is missing a bet here for I would willingly pay a (reasonable price) for an updated version that solved these problem and I am sure others would as well.

]]>I haven’t had much luck getting Editor Tabs to play nice with Multisite 3.2
I tried using no additional plugins and default theme and I get conflicts with plugin page not loading intermittently and maybe a few a couple others as I recall. when I disable the plugin the problem goes away.
However the tabs do show up in the editor and they are exactly what I’m looking for.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
while I was looking for a plugin so as to easy the way my students write posts, I came along your plugin. Editor-tabs.
Reading the comments in the forum I found that there was a conflict when using it with the Adminimize plugin (which I already use and works flawlessly). I contacted its author trying to find solutions for it, but I think the Editor-tabs “problem” could be deeper than just a conflict.
Even without the Adminimize plugin, Editor-tabs seems to be doing things on its own. I don’t think it works well with the screen options of WordPress itself.
You see, although certain fields are disabled (through the screen options) from showing up on the screen they STILL do.
I take it that for Editor-tabs to be a really useful plugin, it should disable the corresponding tabs once these are unchecked on the screen options. Otherwise it just defies the whole purpose of using it(???).
I am not a php savy, but I think that this would probably solve the problems with Adminimize as well.
I think that the purpose of such a plugin could be the improvement of the functionality of wordpress itself as well as “a better looking by tabs edit screen”.
That would make it an awesome CMS plugin.
Can you please look into it?
Thank you in advance.
PS: A changelog would also be very useful and reassuring.
If I disable options (Custom Fields, slug, etc) in Adminimize, they are still visible as a tab.
This is a problem when using these two together to maximize the CMS experience for clients.
If you could resolve this, it would be an AWESOME plugin!
Hey there, this is a fantastic plugin. Make my life easier as I have a billion others.
I’m running into a specific conflict with the PollDaddy plugin. It looks like it may be another javascript issue.
Thanks for creating this. Hopefully this issues is resolved at some point.

Other than that, this is an awesome plugin!
]]>Hello,
I really like this plugin and would love to use it. However, when I tried to move meta boxes back to the sidebar they disappeared upon reloading the page and I couldn’t get them back again. I tried rechecking their check box in the Screen Options drop down panel, but that didn’t help.
Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
Also, as a future feature request – it would be nice if we could reorder the tabs via drag and drop – I believe that jQuery UI easily allows for this.
Thanks for a great plugin,
Moshe
