I have used this licenser for licensing one of my plugins. All the licensing and everything worked perfectly. But it’s not sending the Product Updates. I have added the new version of the plugin in the Product Updates section correctly. But on the client website, I don’t see any updates. Only the total number of available updates tooltip in the WordPress admin menu increases by 1 when the old plugin is activated. That means, somehow the plugin is connecting with the system but something must be wrong with the updater.

I set everything up and checked and recheck what I did but when I put in the license for activation – it won’t save.
I followed a number of tutorials online and on my end all looks good. I downloaded the script and picked the full plugin but when I paste the license and click activate it comes up with an error message and wont save.
cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 120001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

If the scripted plugin/theme License wasn’t activated, why doesn’t it show any warning in WP dashboard for license activation?

Hi, we integrated your plugin well and it works so far.

We have an issue on “localhost” WordPress installations, that the license doesn’t deactivate after expiring or set to “inactive”.

Is there a reason for “localhost” setups and how it can be how it can be figured out to work? Thank you for your quick response.

Having downloaded and activated the plugin and then gone on and created the product I wanted to test out for my scenario, I found that the Generate License Script button gave me the modal to download (php in my case) but it failed. I got the error ‘Base raw file is not exists’ I looked at the plugin code and can see the complete sample_scripts directory and the base sample app file is missing from this plugin. Are you able to update the download zip to include this directory as I don’t see this functionality restricted in the lite version from what I can see. Thanks

First of all, kudos to this amazing plugin. It’s wonderful.

The plugin gives tee the possibility to set the expiration time for both the updates and for the support. But I have seen that after the support expires, the updates are not available anymore. Said in other words the entire license expires if the support expires.

Did you want to do it so, or is it a bug?

In my opinion, you should be able to assign support that expires before the updates. If for example I want to sell a license that gives lifetime updates, but only the first 6 months of support, I can’t do it. This is a big limit.

When I go to activate the license, then I am getting this error.

“Response Error, contact with the author or update the plugin or theme.”

Can you solve it? Otherwise, it’s not possible to use for a long time.

When I try to run the auto-integration the “Processing” message disappears but nothing happens. Checking the error logs shows this:

Hi “/wp-content/uploads/elf_2020/wp/form-header.app” is visible on the license page.

It also doesn’t work (causes 503 error).

Is there an issue? We’re testing with the free version before we install/setup the paid version (already purchased).

The update system for themes works great, however when there’s a child theme, the update tries to overwrite the child, not the theme. Is there something Im missing?

This is a very useful plugin, thanks for this awesome work. I was thinking to buy the agency license for the lifetime but it’s a bit costly for me.

BTW, I have been using it for my wp custom wp theme, it was working fine but suddenly it’s not showing the theme updates on the client’s site. Could you please check it at your end with a custom wp theme? and help me to resolve this.

On the settings tab about the Pro Version, you might want to correct the spelling:

You can’t add more then one product in lite version
You can’t add more then two licenses type in lite version

It should be “than” instead of “then”.

For the licence time to extended everytime the subscription is paid. And canceled when the customer end the subscription.

Because if we want to bill our user on a monthly basis we can not ask them to come back and buy manually a new license every month.

where can I find Documentation for setting up the plugin setup? I’m getting this error when trying to upload a plugin.
Choose Proudct to add license code
Your uploading plugin’s or themes slug(or menu slug) must be the same as the product’s base/slug ( which is: USer Role )
if it mismatches, then the licensed plugin or theme won’t work properly
You can change it in the product edit panel

I tested the plugin on a disposable WordPress install, but I could not make it work if I restricted the license to one domain only.

When I try to activate the license on the WordPress site, I just receive the following error message:

`“Your key has been installed on another domain()”

In order for it to work, I had to add at least two domains in the license settings (“Max Domain” field), which can be found at the “License Type” menu.

Also, if I activate the “two domains” license in a second domain and later change the license once again to one domain in the settings, I simply can’t deactivate it at all on the already activated website.

This happens with both the free and “pro” versions. The test was conducted on live sites, so it’s not something related to local WordPress installations.
