I liked this plugin very much, and it used to work perfectly fine. However, recently we’ve had some problems when deleting old entries. We couldn’t figure out what was going on. The real issue is that you won’t get ANY support at all. This is a pretty low standard for a plugin that is also available as a PRO version. Unfortunately, I will now have to replace the plugin. Better stay away from it.

That’s a pity, since a few weeks the plugins started randomly logging some emails, but the majority not. In spite of opening a support ticket on the plugin forum, no solution has been given. A shame because we paid for the auto-delete upgrade.

This is our go to plugin for email logging because it does just that and nothing else and it’s completely free. A lot of the other options for email logging are limited or only available with a paid upgrade. This is the best option when you just want to log emails and debug. Great work by the developer, this is a really valuable contribution to the WP community.

While working locally to develop plugins, i was either using SMTP or custom print/exit code to debug emails. Email Log saves me from that, and does exactly it promises.

This plugin stores all of the email log in to the database and then makes it to loop through all of them as one is added this caused my hosting 4 core CPU to run out and make all of the server go down.
Do not use it unless you send one or 2 email a month i had 31k in my log.

We use “Email log” during the development phase of many WordPress website, especially if they send a lot of automated emails (for example when there are e-commerce or membership plugins, or any type of advanced form).
It’s one of the most helpful tools to test if everything works as expected. We love this plugin!

With the demise of Postman SMTP (see here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/removed-from-repo/ ) which had built-in logging, there may, like me, be others looking for an alternative to Postman SMTP. I found this Email Log plugin and it seems to work great, so thank you to Sudar !
Not sure this is the place for a feature request, but in the WordPress Dashboard/Home section, Postman SMTP has a summary of the total emails ever sent, and a handy link to go straight to the log. Would be great to see that functionality built into Email Log

This kind of functionality is so incredibly useful. Normally you never need to check it, but what if users of your site say that something is up with the emails they’ve been receiving. How will you check what is actually being sent by WordPress? This plugin waits quietly, logging everything, ready for when you need to check it.

This plugin has been indispensable, and saved my business from a potential mess when we ran into a hosting issue midway through a cron job. I bought the ‘resend emails’ add-on for a very reasonable $15, which allowed me to resend emails that we could not otherwise have regenerated, as well as to change the content type in the header so the resent emails could be re-formatted with a different template. Not only was this extremely useful, but Sudar (the developer) helped us out via email at 1am! Great plugin and a great developer.

It’s great to be able to keep an eye out on what emails are going through the site in the email log. I also have the email forward add-on which is so convenient for knowing that the emails are working properly and having a copy for myself.
Sudar also went out out of his way to support me when I had an issue that turned out to due to my email servers – not his plugin! However, he spent several days and multiple emails helping me troubleshoot my issues when again, in the end, wasn’t even his fault. THAT is great support and I am so pleased that I bought this add-on and have someone this kind and willing to help!
