I thought that I should rate and review this plugin for the following reasons
I was quite annoyed when I saw what they wrote about a free, easy to use plugin. If you can’t use something this simple then maybe you should reconsider doing anything related to WordPress.

The shortcode works in plain html markup as well. It will also send subject, body etc in the email variable if you use them. Thanx for the plugin

I love this tool. Clients worried about their emails getting picked up and spammed, this let them feel safer about publishing and didn’t create a lot of complication and technical reading for them to use it.
I would personally like to see a couple features added to this.
One would be to have a class attribute to make styling the the email text and links easier than relying only on the WYSIWYG editor.
Secondly, a short-code button or reference for even greater ease of use on the editor page.

For those of us who are brand new to WordPress and don’t speak CSS, please add a few simple instructions in plain English. Now that I have this installed and activated, what do I do exactly? Do I paste something into the text box every time I use an email address? If so, what and where? There is no Settings option. How exactly do I customize what the visitor sees like your example with “Bob”?

Thank you so much for this plug-in. I had over 70 emails on a membership roster, and this plug-in was so easy to use and to retrofit. The read me.txt file had the requisite information to make this work. You can even append the ?subject to the end of the email address. Brilliant!

Usage is extremely simple; anywhere you want to drop an obfuscated email into your post or page, use the short code [email-obfuscate email="[email protected]"]. Has the advantage of actually working correctly, unlike the other similar plugins I tried.

Why bother writing the plugin if you aren’t going to write at least a short set of instructions.
There’s no docs, no support, no notes; just two screenshots that are pretty, but useless.
