I understand that this might be a feature and not a bug, but it is kind of annoying that I can’t set the plugin to just leave the email format alone and not force it to be either html or plain.
WordPress default email notifications are plain text, but just any other plugin with email notifications goes with html formatted emails, be it WooCommerce, Events Calendar, Contact Form 7, etc.
]]>Hi, this is a great plugin! Yet here’s a bug I’ve found just now – the table it creates for logging emails is not using the prefix that is usually defined as a global varialbe $table_prefix
.
This could lead to some issues with multisite, multiple WordPress installations in a single database (not that this is a good practice), some migration/backup plugins, etc.
It would be great if you could fix this in a future release!
]]>Hi
does this plugin work also as a global SMTP client for the whole wordpress system? (core and all plugins)
Great plug-in. Use it a lot. Thank you.
After the recent update, my view is no longer a table, it’s a list of emails and a lot harder to read. Not sure what changed or if it was deliberate, but I, for one, liked the old view better. Thanks for reading and all the hard work.
]]>Hi,
This plugin idea is quite nice .. BUT it can’t catch emails sent by the quite popular “Mailer” (on themeforest) newsletter plugin.
In my configuration I had to use the SMTPauth as “plain” (it has to be done inside that plugin settings pane) https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uKePvG
If you could solve the way to catch those it would free my brain about that open question and start logging them more seriously.
Regards.
]]>The nag notice stating “Emails Catch All plugin was activated!” and asking to rate the plugin or buy a cup of coffee will not clear out. I have closed this several times, but it keeps popping up. While I don’t mind the occasional “hey you – can you rate my plugin” nag screen, one that will not go away is extremely annoying and prone to garner lower ratings than hoped for. Please fix this in a quick update.
]]>1. It would be very useful to hijack the wp_mail
functionality, so that when you don’t have email configured locally (or on whatever server you’re on), it can capture the email data, and return true
, without actually sending anything or without the need to configure the Catch All Email Address
.
2. The email content is not outputted correctly:

Hi,
Your plugin is exactly what I was looking for ; great thanks for that
But, when I activate it, the language of my website swicth to English (basicly it’s in French)
It’s quite disturbing, How to arrange that ?
Thanks !
