the simplest plugin I could find to add a dynamic Google photos album in WP.
And Pavel provides amazing support. Thanks tons!

Followed instruction to the tee but there were no images created for me!
Was hopeful, but expected it would not live up to my anticipation!

It is basic but it works – and you don’t have to set up complicated settings in Google.
You must enter the shortcode in a custom HTML block, not a paragraph block. An elementary mistake that I made initially.
I do hope that pavex will add more display options

Есть только небольшое но, я не могу его настроить, насколько понял, он имеет только один вид привью. Это конечно не очень удобно, и слишком банально. Но ничего лучше найти не смог.

Good idea. But iframe with photo is not scrollable on mobile

Be only fair to say it does work, on WordPress 5.x also. Very simple in terms of options it seems to me. But by the time you’ve tried a million ways to simply embed a google photos album, without hiccups *which is much harder than it should be*, then you begin to appreciate that the slideshow is the only way to go. This works at least. No menus or anything after installation, just shortcode with album url in it.. [embed-google-photos-album “…google photos album url…”].
