New sub-pages are added to top level instead of parent-page sub-menu.

]]>Hello,
I must say the plugin works very nice with WP3.2.1 and it is very usefull. Just a little question – would it be possible to expand the function like this:
1st checkbox: -“add top-pages automatically” (i.e. the original WP behaviour preserved)
2nd checkbox: -“add subpages of top-pages automatically”
I think it would be a nice enhancement for CMS like websites.
With best regards, Joo

]]>unfortunately this wonderfull plugin is not working with costum post types ??
]]>I’ve installed, activated and selected the “Automatically add new top-level pages” as instructed however when I add my menu items, no sub pages are displayed at all.
]]>I had a custom menu, a mixture of WP and other pages (on the same site), so can’t as I do on other sites have all pages added automatically.
But adding pages (new will be nearly all WP) a pain – both remembering, and dragging through an increasingly long list.
But without having to change a thing in my existing menu, this works perfectly, adding new pages to the parent I set.
On another site I’ve been wrestling an auto menu a must (some quite non-teccie people will be adding pages) but I wanted a group of pages under one heading but without that sub-level for short urls. Now I can easily do it.
Only snag, which was already there but it doesn’t remove, if someone forgets to set a parent then the page will be added as main heading on the menu, and v slight inconvenience, anyone going back into change will have to make the page draft before setting the parent.
A 5* plugin as far as I’m concerned.

]]>This plugin works just not the way you think. You have to install this plugin before you start building your site. If you already have a custom menu laid out it will not order any thing you’ve already laid out. But when you add more pages or categories to your site it will order the new entry. So starting fresh is the best way with this plugin.

]]>I’ve got php5 on the server but this plugin is no go.
]]>Sorry, does not work
]]>Hi,
Enhanced Custom Menu looks like a great plugin for websites with difficult menu hierarchy. But according to my tests you can use it only from very start of content creation process. If you already have any menu items created and would like to add sub-menu items using this plugin, you will have strange bug as a result. Firstly you will see a new-created menu item among other menu parent items, then it will disappear after menu will be refreshed.
Sadly if you have already created ~100 pages structured in menu system manually.

]]>When I check the ‘Automatically add new top-level pages’ checkbox, and save the menu, it doesn’t add the subpages attached to my top level page.
The plugin has installed and activated with no problem …
Am I missing something ?
THX for help ??
