Is there a way to show the Lost your Password link
also showing the Register link? The plugin gives you the choice of both or neither. I am using LearnDash LMS with the Group Registration plugin and WooCommerce for users to purchase and register for our courses. When I uncheck “Remove “Register | Lost your password?” link, the “Register” link does not work, and I don’t want users to register that way anyway. They register when they enrol in a course. But I do need to provide a lost password retrieval link.
Hi, since short I’m using a anti malware plugin (gotmls.net) to screen our websites and the only warning I get back is in relation with Erident. Could you contact that anti malware to provide or confirm that this thread is no thread when discovered?
It concerns this thread in the:
…/erident-custom-login-and-dashboard/templates/settings-template.php
file.
Inside that file the anti malware indicates:
<?php
$login_footer_link_settings_box = require_once __DIR__ . ‘/setting-boxes/login-footer-link-settings.php’;
$login_footer_link_settings_box( $settings );
?>
as a possible threat.
Unless you now confirm that this does not belong to your core file and is in fact a thread… If you confirm this is no threat then I can whitelist this file.
Many thanks,

Is there any way to add custom text to the login screen? e.g. we have members that can log in, but I want to add a “Not a member? Click here to sign up”.
I tried on a couple of webs and have the bug in both of them.
In the Form Background Settings
Can’t add background image. I click and my media library doesn’t open.
When I am on the login page, it has the background that I want.
When I go to the “register” page, the background goes back to the default. Is there a way to make it that my backgrounds are both the color that I want?
Best regards

For around a year i’ve noticed that the login page Language switcher
will inherit the styling of the login form background colour. I’ve now noticed that this is possibly because the login form AND language switcher both use the same css class selector…
.login form
Can you provide an update so that the login form uses a different css selector to the language switcher. I’d rather not hide the language switcher to get around this.
Sorry if this has been asked before…I want users to be able to recover a lost password, but I do not want them to be able to register for the site with the default WordPress form this plugin formats. I use WP Forms for registrations but I am getting spammed by the WordPress form. In the Erident Custom Login dashboard form settings there is only an option to enable/disable both Register and Lost Password simultaneously (Hide Register | Lost Password? Y/N). Is there a way to enable one without the other? Thanks.

I am getting the following error on my site’s login page and I’m wondering if someone can advise on how to remedy this.

Hello Libin,
I love Erident Custom Login and Dashboard. I use it on one other site.
I’m not a programmer and I love it when the code is clean. I though I might suggest to add the features to your plugin. Here is what I mean (link to jpg image).
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kNnJIjhcQfr0CNY5AbsmCtEkFKOG2w4q/view?usp=sharing
Recently, I wanted to tweak a few things on our login page. That is the :
– Language switcher option (Hide – on/off)
– Private Policy link (Change text color and size)
– Private Policy link (Hide – on/off)
I found this and installed it. Yes I know, it is only one line of code :
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-login-language-switcher/#description
and I found this but I was not sure where to place it on my site :
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/remove-privacy-policy-link-in-login-form/
I think these features would be great addons to your plugin.
Please let me know if you might consider adding these in the near futur.
Martin
Hi,
Since the last update of WordPress (5.9), I see a problem with your plugin.
In particular, the switcher seems to be broken, the block takes the whole width and also has a border, it’s not very pretty.
Do you plan to correct this problem soon?
Best regards,
Virginie

I use this plugin on multiple sites for many years as very flexible and meets multiple needs. It was the cause of a 302 ‘too many redirects’ issue I had on a site today and all fine after deativating it. Notice no action with the plugin for 10 months so should i start looking elsewhere for an alternative? Would rather not.
Really appreciate the plug-in. There is a clean change between the 3 pages that the plug-in controls.
Found a challenge on the Password Reset page with being unable to change the default colour for one important setting:
class=”description indicator-hint”
Due to having a dark background, the dark colour of the hint is lost.
Trust you will be able to impliment a solution!
all the best,

GREAT plugin! Been using it for years.
A recent update has brought a bug where the password label colour is not being changed by the plugin. Can you push out a fix?
Thanks,

Hi,
It definitely is a great plugin with almost all features you can imagine. Thanks for that!
But, I have to make only two small changes which are not provided by the plugin. So, is it possible to add a section for custom css? Because there’s no place else, where custom css overrides the css of the plugin. (I also tried Child Theme css….without success.)
Hope to hear from you!
Warm regards from the Netherlands,
Alice
Hello,
Since the last WP update (5.4.), having this plugin installed and activated messes up the image upload (the upload button won’t work).
Once the plugin is deactivated, it all works fine.
Tried it on several different websites, with the same results.

Hi Support,
I’ve been performing a PHP 7 upgrade audit on all of the sites I host and although this plugin doesn’t have any direct front end issues with the upgrade I am getting a couple of issues pertaining to the lost password and back to site links on the admin login screen and the plugin settings within WP.
Notice: Undefined index: dashboard_check_lost_pass in /home/sbpstaging/public_html/wp-content/plugins/erident-custom-login-and-dashboard/er-custom-login.php on line 855
Notice: Undefined index: dashboard_check_backtoblog in /home/sbpstaging/public_html/wp-content/plugins/erident-custom-login-and-dashboard/er-custom-login.php on line 876
How would I go about fixing these or is this already in the works for the next update, I am trying to get all my sites over to PHP 7.2 by the end of December at the very latest especially with the support for PHP 5.6 being removed after that point.
Thank you
Sibbo
Hello. I entered my website above but please note that I have a coming soon landing page up for now. I would be more than happy to take it down to troubleshoot if necessary.
Here is my issue. I’m currently using PeepSo plugin for social media features on my site. (i’m not sure if this is causing the issue or not) I have set up my custom login page per the instructions. However when I view my site when logged out (and coming soon page turned off of course) instead of seeing the custom login page I see my sites home page in a logged out state. Is there a setting somewhere where I can fix this? I’m probably missing something super simple. Also a secondary question – I love that this provides the registration and lost password links, however will these links automatically be set to use my peepso registration and lost password pages? Thanks in advance for your help! I’m really loving how simple this plugin is to configure and how you can fully customize everything!
hi there, first, great plugin! ??
how can i set the background color of the username and password fields on the login form?
i can set the text color but can’t find how to set the background color. is use a dark theme to match my site so the white entry field backgrounds are very glaring.
thanks.

I really like your plugin. I downloaded it but I have a problem the blocks “Login Screen Background” and “Login Form Settings” do not open. There is only the “Login Screen Logo” block which is open permanently to allow me to change the link of the logo. What should I do? Is that a problem?
Thank you for your help.

Hi all,
is there a possibility that after the user/reader logs in, he will directed to the website and not to his login info/dashboard?
