since the update to 5.0.9 the elements seem no longer to work correctly. In my case, affected are: DualButton, TypingText, FeatureList, AdvancedImage, … and maybe more.
The strange thing: In the website editor – elements are displayed correctly.

Essential Blocks: 5.0.9
WordPress 6.7
Theme: Neve FSE 1.1.2

Any clue how to fix this? I am pleased to provide any information needed.

I have an issue with the Advanced Tabs not working properly on my site. I created an Advanced Tab block with 2 tabs, the first one has a “reference” photo and the second one has a shortcode displaying a puzzle. In edit mode, everything works fine. But when I save the page and try to access the page, I get a message in my browser (doesn’t matter which browser) that says the page has stopped responding and asks me if I want to quit or wait. The page stays stuck on the first tab and nothing happens when you click on the second tab. This is the same if I change to a different device too.

I have WordPress 6.6.2 and Essential Blocks 5.0.7.

I am having a bug on my website. the bug is related to [Plugin]=[Essential Block]
The [Essential Block].[Post Grid].[Pagination] function does not work properly that there will be no response when you press [1] or [2] in the pagination (the query loop will not be triggered)

Therefore I cant navigate through pages in the [Post Grid].

In the console, I am getting the error “failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)”
I am using wordpress version= 6.6.2,
Server architecture= Linux 6.8.0-1009-aws x86_64,
PHP version=8.3.6

Please help me fix the bug.

After the latest update from 5.0.5 to 5.0.6, some settings lost like icon tickmarks on my above page, that’s why I rolled back to the previous version but now, the Testimonials slider is not working well. What should I do?

The blocks don’t seem to work for me, and after disabling some plugins, it appears to be an issue with WP-Optimize. Is there a known conflict for this?

For clarity, the blocks seem to work perfectly in the page editor and in the page preview, but once the changes are saved and you view the page, the functionality is broken. I cleared the cache, etc., but it was still non-functional for me.

I tested the carousel, which just winds up as a spinning wheel of death, and the typing text, which only displays the first part and the last part but not the parts that are supposed to be typed.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

While flip box works on the front end, on the back end when trying to edit it’s giving an “unsupported” code. “Your site doesn’t include support for the “essential-blocks/flipbox” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”

This only happened recently with an update to the plugin

Carousel does not show on mobile devices. Tested all versions back to 4.8.4. –> this is the last version the carousel is displayed on an Android mobile phone ( Brave Browser and Google Chrome ).

The version of the Pricing Table that comes with Essential Blocks does not support customizing the icons for the feature list from your “Price Table Block” plugin. When Essential Blocks is installed your Price Table Block plugin no longer works, so I can’t just use both plugins for the desired functionality. Please update Essential Blocks with the latest version of your code from the Price Table Block plugin.

I have an issue with your “Toggle Content Block” and “Advanced Tabs Block” when used together with another plugin (Image Map Pro). At first I thought that the issue was with Image Map Pro, but I’ve now tried another Tabs plugin (ultimate blocks) and it seems to be working fine.

The issue is that the full screen button of the Image Map is clickable even when another tab is selected. It’s rather hard to explain what I mean. But you can see for yourself at essential blocks TABS – AKUTRUM.SE . Clicking the full screen button on Tab 1 -> Content 1 is working fine. But if you then select Content 2 and click full screen, it will open the full screen of the image map in Content 1.
Also, if you select Tab 1 and click on the corresponding location in the full screen button of the image in Tab 2, it will open the image in Tab 2.

I much prefer your blocks, as they are better looking. Any idea why these buttons seem to “override” between tabs?

I’ve reverted to version 5.0 but the latest 5.0.3 version makes my home page slider have 200px images. Reverting resolves the problem.

I disabled all cache, etc. assuming it was that and then remembered the update this morning.

when I used EB Accordion with the General option “Toggle” on. Every item of the accordion could be opened togehter with others. When Toggle is off and “Accordion” is on. Only the actual item is open while other items gets closed when picking an other item. This was the behaviour of an older version of EB Plugin.

Now there is no difference between “Accordion” and “Toggle”. It behaves the same.
Did I miss something?

I am currently working on implementing a continuous horizontal loop of images similar to the marquee effect. While I have managed to achieve most of the functionality using a slider, I am facing an issue with the easing. Specifically, the slider pauses briefly after each slide (even at Autoplay Speed of 0 ), whereas I am aiming for a smooth, uninterrupted sliding motion.

Would you be able to advise on how to achieve this continuous motion without the stopping behavior?

Essential Blocks gives me so many great visualization options with GeneratePress theme, but by I noticed a weird behavior while using themes global typography.

In page editor all looks great. I set H2 size in Themes customization e.g. to 50px and in editor I see it like that. While on a site and viewing a page as a user it shows me 30px size for H2.

I looked for a reason and found that Themes 50px is overridden by /wp-content/plugins/essential-blocks/assets/admin/editor/editor.css where I can see:

.eb-advance-heading-wrapper h2 {
font-size: 30px
}

Why is it so? In Block defaults and global settings there is nothing set for H2 size. Those fields are blank. Moreover, it is working as expected in editor, but front end picks it up somehow.

I’m looking for an accordion in which both text and 2 images can be used in the title tab. One solution would be to insert your row-block in the title, enabling unlimited customization. Unfortunately that’s not possible. But using an image as a title suffix at least enables the usage of both text and 1 image in the title.

My question is if it is possible to style the suffix in any way? More specifically, I want the suffix to be aligned to the right and the title to the left.

In the Post Grid I found where you can exclude a post from showing up. Is there a way you can exclude a category?

I use a lot of categories, and it would be much simpler to exclude a single category instead of including all the ones that I do want to appear.

When I update Version 4.8.3 all Post Carousel in my entire website show error about can’t find $ClassName so I have to reverse plugin version back to my old version

I am running all the latest versions of WP, all plugins & the Total Theme. I have already debugged by deactivating other plugins and testing other parts of this plugin.

This is the page associated with a testimonial pattern block. If I click edit, it will bring me to the backend but will stall loading until eventually crashing the tab. This same event occurs when I am on any other backend page and attempt to insert a testimonial pattern block.

Everything that was already running these Essential Blocks is still fine on the frontend view. I just cannot edit these testimonial pattern blocks or insert any preset testimonial patterns. I am able to add a completely new testimonial block to pages, but not already set patterns.

Hello, I have received many complaints from over 70 of my clients about their WordPress Websites error “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” when ever they try to edit widgets from the customize settings.

I have found out that this plugin is causing the conflict. On my test website, I tested this plugin with : Astra, OceanWP, Neve themes but the error persisted.

To get this error: Go to >> WordPress Admin dashboard >>> Appearance>>>Customize>>>Widgets>>>Edit = ERROR

I’ve managed to fix the issue with the pop-up window sizing by adding CSS in the Advanced tab:

Would be good if you could add ‘VH’ to sizing of this container box rather than just ‘PX EM %’.

Otherwise just the other issue of the Z-Index being assigned to the pop-up window only, and not to include the button that activates the pop-up window.

On iPhones or smartphones it’s very difficult for users to use the operating systems scroll bars as there’s no visual indication that it exists. At the moment to get to the bottom of the pop-up window that has lots of content in it, the user has to use the system’s scroll, however as it’s not clearly not obvious visually on the phone the user can do that, many will think the pop-up has faulty programming.

To make user experience better on the mobile display I wish to reduce the height/depth of the pop-up so it fits on the screen, and to also possibly take into account the mobile browser’s footer and header bar. I don’t want the user to have to use the phone’s scrollbar. (Only use pop-up scroll).

Hi. After Updating to 4.7.4 and Update Database by plugin, I Found out that Custom CSS in Advanced Heading Block has Error. I can not see CSS added before and I can add new now and those CSS do not work. but before 4.7.4 version I did not have this issue. How to solve that??? Thanks

Cannot disable accordion title outline when click. All border setting set to “None”.
I’ve also searched this issue and found accessibility issues, so added custom CSS:

a:focus {
    outline: 0px !important;
    outline: none !important;
}

and tried to add same to eb_selector

eb_selector a:focus {
    outline: 0px !important;
    outline: none !important;
}

but nothing changes, please help how to disable outline (borders) when clicking on accordion title:

I installed a fresh version of wordpress (6.5.3) and the latest version of the Essential Blocks plugin (4.6.1). I’m adding an “Accordion” block to the page. I click on the three dots and switch the view to “Edit as HTML”. I go back to the previous view by clicking “Edit visually”. At this point, the message “This block contains unexpected or invalid content.” appears in the block and the “Attempt Block Recovery” button.

I added a slide in animation to a column that has borders and a background color, but the column itself doesn’t slide, only the text inside the column slides although I didn’t add any animation to the text itself. It would be nice if the column and the text inside of it slide together. Any advise on how to achieve this?
