Hello.
These strings use the?esc_html()?function and are not translated:
Additionally, these strings have the text domain ‘archive-title’:

]]>Hello.
I’ve Chique 1.6.1 and Essential Content Types 2.2, I can’t to modified title and description in homepage from customizer.
I modify the title and description but it does not change on the homepage and no error messages are displayed.
In previous versions of the plugin and the theme it worked correctly.
Regards.
]]>I use the Essential Content Types plugin with the Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin that creates a customer post type called “podcast”. However, on visiting archive pages for these custom post types I get the following error:
Notice: Undefined index: podcast in <my-site-root>/wp-content/plugins/essential-content-types/essential-content-types.php on line 275
Notice: Undefined index: in <my-site-root>/wp-content/plugins/essential-content-types/essential-content-types.php on line 239
I looked at the plugin code and ECT plugin will fail if any customer post-type is used which is not recognized by your plugin (i.e. anything else than “Services”, “Testimonial”, “Portfolio” or “Featured Content”). Please correct this so that if the user created any other customer post type manually or via other plugins then ECT doesn’t clash with it.
$default_title = array(
'ect_service_title' => esc_html( 'Services', 'essential-content-types' ),
'jetpack_testimonial_title' => esc_html( 'Testimonial', 'essential-content-types' ),
'jetpack_portfolio_title' => esc_html( 'Portfolio', 'essential-content-types' ),
'featured_content_title' => esc_html( 'Featured Content', 'essential-content-types' ),
);
$archive_title = get_option( $type, $default_title[ $type ] );

]]>I’m trying to insert only 3 services in my site but “section-content-wrapper” is every time rendered with css class “layout-four”. Maybe a bug is still present
]]>Hi, I’m having trouble with a bug.
Out of curiosity I was trying the plugin, but now the “Services” section doesn’t want to disappear, even though I have disabled all the options and uninstalled the “Essential Content Types” plugin.
Normally it shouldn’t be there, that section should be completely empty: there should be no space between “New track coming soon” and “Follow me”.
What can I do to make the “Services” section disappear? When I change a wordpress theme, the word “Service” disappears and everything goes back to normal, but when I return to my theme I’m working on, the problem reappears.
Thanks.
]]>Hello, the latest update two days ago for the essential content types plugin have made the archives labels go nuts, all the archives titles are gone and only shows the “archive:” label and nothing more. For the featured and project content archives it has both label and title. I use the archive control plugin to hide the ugly archive labels but that did not work correct after the update. When active the category and tag archives shows the title only as expected but the month and year still has only “archive:” and the ECT archives only show “Featured Content” and “Project”. For now the archive control plugin is inactive. I’m using a child theme of “my music band” by catch themes, but not many changes to that yet. I have tried to solve it myself but without luck as i’m no expert in code and need help to know what files and what lines of code to change. Or maybe if someone made a mistake with the updated code to change that soon.
Hope someone can help or else I need to roll back version or uninstall the ect plugin and figure out something else as the archive pages in the theme are pretty useful but I don’t understand why the ugly archive labels MUST be visible and make the pages useless. Could this be an option to turn off built in to the wp core in the future maybe?
Regards
Lennart
When I try to add a new project or edit one the wp editor crashes.

]]>Hello,
is there a way to remove the sidebar from the portfolio pages created with Essential Content Types. On normal pages under Site Attributes I can switch the template to “no sidebar; Full width.
But on the portfolio pages this option is missing, so the pages don’t show up in full width. I would like to change this.
kind regards
Dennis
Hi, I need to reorder project in portfolio pages.
What can I do?
Thanks
Is it possible to change the slugs of the post types? For example services, testimonials, etc. I want to translate it and I found I can change the archive page title bug I would like to translate the slug to match it.
]]>Hi there,
Thank you so much for this plugin! I was only using a tiny fraction of Jetpack’s features, but I find the content types for portfolio and testimonials indispensable, so thank you for providing a plugin that creates these CPTs without any hassle.
I was able to move many of my Pages over to the new Project (Portfolio) CPT, but alas, my categories (project types) and tags (project tags) got stripped. The relationship between Pages (parent-child) also got stripped.
While it’s easy enough for me to recreate the categories as Project Types, is there a way to enable the Parent-Child relationship that Pages normally have? I have some Projects that are quite large and have many components. I want each of the components to be in my portfolio, but I want them to be organized (and not just by Project Type).
For example, I have Category A, which has a very large project in it. There are several components to that large project, and some of those components also have smaller parts:
Category A
Project A
-Component A
–Component a.1
–Component a.2
-Component B
–Component b.1
-Component C
–Component c.1
–Component c.2
–Component a.3
–Component a.4
Is there a way to do this? If not, I highly suggest it as a feature, as projects can get quite overwhelming and confusing, even with Project Types and Tags added!
