Love this plugin.
It doesn’t seem to work when I put it in a woo commerce button tho.
Is that normal?
]]>Hi
I am looking to launch my .ie website which is based on my UK website. I am looking for a plugin that would be able to track gbp-eur exchange rate and adjust prices automatically following the rate changes.
Is this possible with Euro FxRef Currency Converter
Hi, the currency_legal
shortcode includes a link to :
https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/eurofxref/
I am getting a “You don’t have permission to access /stats/eurofxref/ on this server” 403 error on that URL.
]]>Would it be possible to display more currencies under the converted field then just one?
I would like to show the converted rates of 4 currencies behind the original Euro value.
Example: € 6 ($7.24/GBP 5)
]]>Our pricing page is currently erroring out: https://www.smartimage.com/pricing/
This is the only page we use the Euro FxRef Currency Converter
on. Will there be an update to the plugin soon?
I think I might be best trying to describe my wish list first, but I don’t think the plug-in can perform it?
Ideally I’d like a couple of flags in a row (usual currency suspects) sitting above a table featuring sterling prices, that allows the user to click the flag they wish to view the website in, and this then becomes their default. Now I don’t believe this is possible? So I’m looking for another solution
I’ve tried experimenting with the plug-in, and whereas it stops short of my ideal solution, it still performs the basics of what I want – so that’s a positive. The use of shortcodes is probably a good solution for me, as the prices can appear ad-hoc in different places of the website, this gives me some flexibility, but I’m not blessed with space. At the moment it outputs something like this
£ 1,000.= / $ 1,419.= *
Is there anyway of removing the asterisk and the second equals sign? Even the full stop doesn’t seem necessary. Ideally I’d like to be able to put the Euro in too as a third currency, but at the moment the only way I’ve been able to achieve this is by putting sterling in a second time. The sort of output I’d be looking for would be something like this
£1000 = $1419 = €1415
Many thanks, or if you feel there is another solution, please feel free to advise

]]>I’m trying to do the following: allow my website visitors to pass the mouse over a certain phrase (ex: See price in Dollars) and a Tooltip ballon appears with the converted value in the mencioned currency.
The plugin I’m using for tooltips is “Responsive Mobile-Friendly Tooltip”. From what I’ve been able to test, I can put any message inside the Tooltip, but placing the Euro FxRef shortcode there doesn’t produce any effect.
Thanks in advance for your patience.

]]>Hey,
Been using this plugin and it’s fantastic.
I have a feature request, maybe to add here, or to create a plugin for it.
Dynamically calculated results.
Example, I’d like to calculate the difference in % with a static number and a converted amount and display it as a %

]]>Good day.
I have a non-breaking space instead displays “&” character (without the quotes of course). Tried to replace the non-breaking space to another character (‘) – the same result.
So far removed altogether gap thousandths, but visually it looks terribly uncomfortable.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Sincerely, Alexander.

]]>I’m using your plug-in to do a currency conversion as a hidden input field within a front-end form.
The code is
<input type="hidden" name="wpcf-feepounds" value="[currency amount="[types field="fee" id="$sell-list"][/types]" from="[wpv-post-author id="$sell-list" format="meta" meta="wpcf-seller-default-currency-code"]" to="GBP" show_from=false append="" round_append=""]">
It is working but I am getting a visible error message on screen, when the form is submitted, as follows;
‘Warning: number_format() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /home/audiogea/public_html/wp-content/plugins/euro-fxref-currency-converter/eurofxref.php on line 108’
As a test, even if I simply display a conversion within the form, e.g.
[currency amount="[types field="price" id="$sell-list"][/types]" from="[wpv-post-author id="$sell-list" format="meta" meta="wpcf-seller-default-currency-code"]" to="[types usermeta="buyer-default-currency-code" user_current="true"][/types]" show_from=false append="" round_append=""]
then I still get the same error message when the form is submitted.
I’d be grateful for any help to get this error message to disappear.
Regards
Robert

]]>Hi there,
I have a case where numbers in the thousands are expressed :
€80,000
and it seems the numbers after the comma aren’t being included.
The French actually tend to use a space to express thousands
€80 000
but this display has the same effect : only the 80 is used in currency conversion.
Work arounds? Is this specific to a preset for amounts in Euros?
thnx!

]]>Hi Joost
I really want to use this plugin badly, but it doesn’t seem to work for me.
As a test I added the example short code you supplied:
[currency amount=”875″ from=”EUR” to=”GBP”]
But on my page all that displays is :
€ 875,=
With no converted amount.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
I am using wp 3.9.1 and a theme called Hub from Woothemes. My VPS should be upto date with PHP etc.. but maybe I have something set wrong, somewhere?
Let me know..
Will gladly leave an amazing review for help ??

]]>Hi,
I am wondering how I can remove the space between the currency symbol and the value, so that it looks like this: “$10” and not “$ 10”.
I am sure it is very simple to do, but I am not particularly tech savvy.
Thanks in advance.
