After an update “WooCommerce Phone Orders & Manual Orders plugin” stopped to work properly and became useless for our needs. We paid $149.00 for one year for the plugin. Very disapointing indeed…

This review is not about the plugin, its about the support. I used the contact form at https://ignitewoo.com/contact-us/, filled in my question and then got this friendly automated response “Thanks for contacting IgniteWoo. We’ve received your message and will respond as soon as possible. We make an effort to respond to all requests within 24 hours.
Please note that our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm Central Time. So if you’re contacting us on a weekend then we may need a bit longer to respond.
We look forward to assisting you!
The IgniteWoo Team”
After 4 days (I sent this on a Wednesday) I replied to their automated email to find out if they would answer my question. Today is eight days since my request and still no answer.
As I look at other reviews, it appears that customer service has been an issue for a long time. Too Bad
I gave 2 stars because the plugin is not my issue, my problem is with customer service.

I found this plugin SO hard to set up, with very limited support documents. Support haven’t yet replied to my help requests. I am happy to remove this feedback if you can process a refund for me.
Thank you

I tried installing the plugin and added some events , tried to add the the shortcode: [events_calendar type=”events”] or even [ignitewoo_events_calendar] calendar wont show on page. I tried to view a single event it is saying page not found.

I never see any company like this. Throw tons of [ profanity redacted ] into the market and none of them work.
Don’t blame them for not supporting – their products are not even supportable. They don’t know what they are doing at all.
1 star is too generous for them. Never buy anything from IgnitWoo which does “business” in a pathetic way.

Cant do nothing with this plugin..

Be warned: these guys make promises on their website about rock solid work and support that they find difficult to keep.
Like others here, I’ve found the paid version of a plugin I got from them doesn’t work as expected, and they’re ignoring my multiple requests for help or a refund.
Seems they’re untroubled by the reputation thing. Avoid the headaches and look elsewhere.

This company only cares about getting your money. You will get email replies as long as you are within the timeframe to be able to get a refund or file chargeback. After that all your emails will be ignored. Bought 3 plugins from them and no support at all except for referrals to poorly written manuals or offer to pay more for support. What?… Absolutely unprofessional. Make sure to google to read all honest reviews. So sad.

terrible support. i do not suggest this or any other plugin from Mark at Ignitewoo. I’ve given him way too much time to resolve multiple PAID and “supported” plugin issues for WooCommerce extensions.
TL:DR Stay AWAY from IgniteWoo.

I used their online ticket system. Never received a response.
I emailed. Never received a response.
I called. Got voicemail. Left a message. Never received a response.
Once I emailed alerting them that I would be disputing payment for another plugin that I bought from them because I have now learned they don’t actually offer support….MAGICALLY the undisputed support king Mark rose to life!
Better solutions out there with far better support.

I had a client purchase this plugin. I find it EXTREMELY difficult to use. I reached out to the client via their Zendesk ticketing (1168) just to have them send me the documentation. That was on May 7th. And nothing. I have tried logging into their zendesk platform to update the ticket and it says I am not a registered user.
NON RESPONSIVE.
PLUG IN NON-Intuitive
More frustration than what it is worth.

Once the plugin was installed it was including JS files into the admin area which completely broke the backend. After identifying the problem I tried to contact the developers both on this forum and on their website’s contact form…
The reply to my first email simply said ‘update the plugin’… I was on the most recent version anyway so I said that… no reply. I tried repeatedly to get in touch… no reply. I even told them that I was hoping to purchase the pro version for my organisation… no reply.
Don’t even bother, use another events plugin.

I too have purchased two ignitewoo plugins and the customer support is unfortunately not very good. If you have a pre-sales question they are fast to respond, but once they have your money it’s a different story.?

As other people may have mentioned, this company (one person called Mark) is a disgrace to other developers out there.
No support.
Faulty plugins.
No fixes.
Stay away.

Not for this plugin, but for the company itself…
I bought a plugin from Ignitewoo’s own eCommerce website, the first problem was that the licence for the plugin was only for a year, however, this was not made clear at purchase stage. Having complained about this, I was told that it was clear to see in the terms and conditions, which were hidden in a separate link like you see for most ‘agree with our terms and conditions’ check box.
Secondly, the plugin did not work for me due to a clash with another major plugin. Due to both of these faults, I immediate requested a refund, and have requested this every day with no response whatsoever from the supplier.
Having researched on-line, many people have reported the same problems with this company. No response to refund requests when the software didn’t work.
For this reason, I am strongly advising people to be very very weary of dealing with this vendor as they are in my opinion not trustworthy.

when combined with their wooevents pro, not much works well. The calendar widget shows past dates, when the first event is a paid event it doesn’t show the price. Dates are off in the widget (i.e. widget shows Mar 27, but the event and the full calendar show Mar 28), and there are dates missing from the widget all together.

Woo called me and helped me through fixing an unfixable problem. it was a bug in the plug in fortunately and nothing I had done.
Now I’ve uncovered 2 more problems that are as serious.
Clicking on an event in the displayed month produces a page not found error as does clicking on any event in the ‘upcoming events’ widget

I like many things about the free version, but so much is broken, many links don’t work, I can’t add a category, the Add Media button won’t work on events. Just to much wrong, I had to find another plugin.
I would buy a Pro version, but the Pro version for this is so complicated, there needs to be a Pro lite, with the ability to use WooCommerce for tickets, but not all the extra stuff that smaller venues do not need. I would pay for that, but the free version is too frustrating to use, as a web designer/programmer I can work around it, but I am setting this up for clients and they would not be able to deal with the bugs.

This plugin has really exceeded my expectations.
It has almost everything I need and it works perfectly.
On the same day I bought it, I’ve installed and have started selling tickets!
The support service is attentive and efficient, I only needed to solve one problem and they helped me immediately and effectively.
I’m sure they will continue to amaze me with the new features in new releases.

This plugin works well if you just need simple events posting with lots of details, but it does not have an option for recurring events. While the non-pro version appears to add features over other plugins with regards to event details, the lack of recurring scheduling is a hit against it.
Perhaps the pro version takes this plugin to next level, but non-pro hits about average.

Ok, so this is our plugin – we wrote it. And we thought we should write a brief review of our own code:
It’s rocks. It kicks ass. It’s stable. It’s scalable. It’s got most everything you need for a base events calendar system. And if you want more – much more – you can upgrade to [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ] and turn your site into the next Blockbuster ticket company ( with the right marketing power of course ?? or simply sell tickets to any number of events you need.
Go for it!
