Hi, when I update my PHP to version 8.2 or 8.3 on the server, I get the following error:

]]>Even if the plugin was closed, it’d be nice if author fixes the bug (it might be an “useless” but courtesy behavior):
the old versions (I refer to 1.1.9) were working well but since last version the plugin causes a serious bug which duplicates and mixes all the menus: in one of our sites we have 3 menus (top, social and private chat) … when the plugin is active the menus are triplicated and mixed everywhere creating mess.
This (for information) happens also on Twentyseventeen.
Solved downgrading to 1.1.9 …
Thanks
]]>Hi,
We just migrated our WordPress site today to Linux ASE on Azure farm but suddenly, we started getting an error that says,
Event Calendar WD requires PHP Calendar module to display events. Contact your hosting provider or enable it manually
Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this?
We were not having this issue when our WordPress site was on WIndows ASE.
Can someone please shed some light on possible cause?
Thanks in advance
]]>Hi
My hosting company is asking me to change from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.1. My wordpress theme developer says that this plugin might not be ready for PHP 8.1.
2. In case I deactivate it to run a test – will I loose all my events listed, or will it appear when I activate the plugin again?
Thanks for your support,

]]>Hello and have a nice day, I’m surprised that in the backend for events you can’t sort the Date column. Am I missing an add-on?
]]>I am having difficulty getting this Events Calendar plug-in to work correctly. The main problem is that I cannot view events once they have been created. Even if I am in the WP Dashboard, and create a new event, if I try to ‘View Event’ I will get a ‘Not found’ error.
Similarly, if I create and save the event, then pull up the main Event Calendar on the website, I can see events listed on the calendar; however, if I try to click on one, I get taken to the same ‘Not found’ error.
I have tried to create a WP Page using the URL supplied in the Events Calendar for the event, to no avail. The plug-in resists my every attempt to fix it.
This does not inspire confidence. I have read a few other posts related to this issue, but none them directly address this major flaw. I hope you can disabuse me of my wrong impression, and help to use your plug-in to better effect.
Thanks,
Rick
]]>Hi there,
I am running the Premium version on my localhost (running latest wordpress 6 on PHP 8.1), the site works well on live hosted environment, but on my machine it is showing this message:
“Event Calendar WD requires PHP Calendar module to display events. Contact your hosting provider or enable it manually.”
Can anyone point me which PHP module is required for this work?
Thanks

Hello Team,
When I click any entry on Event Calendar in the footer section, redirects to another page and it shows the date and time. Our query is how to remove the timer for all pages. For your reference, we have attached the link below.

Hello you nerds,
I'm using the "Event Calendar WD" plugin for the first time and thought, oh, it's not that complicated. Yes it is.
At least the events don't say "add to cart".

Can one of you help me?

Hello Mr.
We have acquired a “WordPress Event Calendar” plugin license and we are unable to deploy in our architecture because of the security level of our infrastructure; indeed we are in a local intranet without access to the Internet connection, which does not allow us to validate the license acquired on our site. we ask you today to have an “On Premise” version precompiled with our license so that after installation we do not need to validate the license on the internet to activate the features.
We remain at your disposal please.
I’ve been using your event calendar for years and was notified that it has been removed from wordpress. Is it discontinued? if so, is there an alternative or a way to export past events?
Critical Problems:
* The Plugin “Event Calendar WD” has been removed from www.ads-software.com.
I faced a bug in WP 6.0. If I go to any category on my site, my site menu starts duplicating. I’ve noticed that the problem solves if I disable this Event Calendar plugin.
UPD: The problem was solved by deleting mobile menu (I had two menus: PC and mobile). But it’s definitely connected to this plugin as I wrote above.
UPD #2: I was able to reproduce the bug on clean install.
1. Install clean WP
2. Install Event Calendar and activate it
3. Install Hueman theme: https://ru.www.ads-software.com/themes/hueman/. I also tested with default Twenty Twenty One.
4. Create two menus with al least one custom link and activate one for PC and another for Mobile.
5. Go to any category page (for example, press the Uncategorized tag button).
You will see that your menu is duplicating.
6. Deactivate Event Calendar. You will see that the problem resolves.
For as much as it may count (since this forum is not supported), ECWD breaks in latest Wp update 6.0. Tested with default theme and all other plugins diabled, so nothing else to blame… it’s ECWD being discontinued.
]]>Last year, I began doing some work on a website which uses the Events Calendar WD plugin, and we have always been getting the following critical error on the WP Site Health page:
PHP default timezone is invalid
PHP default timezone was changed after WordPress loading by a
date_default_timezone_set()
function call. This interferes with correct calculations of dates and times.
In another support thread for this plugin, the Plugin Author writes that this plugin doesn’t use the date_default_timezone_set() function. However, when I searched through the latest version of the plugin code, I found it is in fact being called in the plugin’s ecwd_class.php file, at line 149:
if(!empty($timezone)) {
date_default_timezone_set($timezone);
}
Are there any plans to replace this with some other function which won’t create this critical error? So far, we haven’t seen any time discrepancies between our entries and what appears on the calendar, but it still concerns me as it is showing as a critical error.
Thanks in advance for your help.
]]>WordPress Events Calendar WD appears fine on a PC screen, but how can I improve its layout for mobile devices logging into my website.
I have tried using separate plugins that improve the entire site’s appearance on mobile devices, but I don’t like the way it changes my menu.

is there any way to increase the Period for List view? even if it is entered into the plugin code. It would be very useful for me since right now it is a maximum of 1 year and not all my events are shown.

]]>Hi,
we′re using the ECWD Subscribe Add on for Event Calendar WD. Sending newsletters/notifications about newly added events works fine. But the email notifications are sent also after an event is updated/edited which results in a huge amount of almost same emails. How can we turn off sending the email notifications to subscribers after an event is updated/edited and keep only notifications when an event is published for the first time?
Thanks for any suggestions!

Like the calendar plugin. Do not like it on the phone. I’m using Word Press Twenty Fifteen, Child.
When viewing your calendar on cell phones (free plugin, now, but want pro) it is gobbly gook hidious.
Then to get it to display properly (it defaults to the gobbly gook hidious) on Android, IPhone and Motorola; I have to scroll down to the bottom of the page and with itty bitty fingers tap the almost invisible “exit mobile view” prompt.
How do I fix?
]]>I am using Twenty Fifteen. Yes things have changed, none the less this WordPress template is very simple, uncomplicated, easy to navigate and TOTALLY RESPONSIVE. My question is: I love Event Calendar WD but on this one page https://westernwebmaster.com/event-calendar-prundale-grange-388/ on my Android or Apple phone when clicked shows the background with tee tiny links on the left. Nothing but background, some white boxes, event calendar fully open and tiny, and smaller than small font, tiny images.
Scroll down all the way an I get a tiny black block with white writing “Exit mobile version”. Clicking it brings up a desktop fully responsive view of my Twenty Fifteen Template. If I scroll to the bottom of the page, on my phone, either Android or Apple, I get a black box (regular size) saying “Go to mobile version”.
IS THIS BEING CAUSED BY OR IS IT A PART OF YOUR PLUGIN?
]]>The link I included is the FREE plugin. I am going to upgrade.
I want to have the front end ability to enter events.
I do not want the calendar available to everyone to make entry.
Can I password protect one calendar, call it “data entry” where our secretary would book the events to her calendar (end user add-on) that is password protected and another calendar that is just a calendar, no one can make entry to it, it is for viewing only.
The website will be online and the calendar viewing is important. The front end entry of events is also very important.
]]>I use the calendar to create a list of meals that will be served at a senior center. From the website, they can see a full month worth of menu items. This works great! What I’d like to do is add a calendar view on the homepage that just shows the current day’s menu … so if today is January 7, the calendar would just show January 7’s meal (or event) for that day. Is that possible?

]]>I have a site using SpiderCalendar that is broken. I posted a support topic on that plugin’s page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/spider-event-calendar/ then went out to the Plugin Website, which is 10Web, to try to get support, and was sent back to THIS support page on www.ads-software.com.
The calendar is broken after December 2021; if you try to view January 2022 a critical website error gets kicked. This is a heavily used calendar and we need to figure out what to do about this. The calendar is behind a members-only login, so I cannot share the URL here but if someone can reach out with a means of private support I can share login.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
