Hi we are getting the following error when visitors are trying to purchase:
Error posting Eway request: cURL error 28: Resolving timed out after 10000 milliseconds Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
If the customer then scrolls back to the order/pay button and resubmits then the order is successful. It does not seem to happen if a customer fills out all checkout fields quickly,
We have tried disabling all security plugins such as ReCapture for Woocommerce and Antispam by Cleantalk however this has not helped. Most issues seem to occur for customers on mobile.
We have also increased the server timout to 60 seconds.
Any ideas of what could be causing this. This seemed to start about 2-3 weeks ago.
Thanks
Hi Team, the plugin works perfectly fine, just wanted to know when we can have Apple Pay and Google Pay support?
]]>Our EWAY gateway was working last week, but last night we received EWAY errors on https://www.feelgoodnow.co.nz checkout we had a spamming order attack that recorded 177 failed eway orders last night recorded from the same person. Then I tested eway myself, today with a test purchase, but transaction also got rejected, saying I was unauthorised,
Error posting Eway request: 401, Unauthorized
so possibly the service has been locked down since the attack? we need the problem investigated, and advised if it can be fixed and reactivated to work. I can provide wp-admin logins if needed.
thanks G
]]>So it looks like we’re getting a similar error to previous posters.
The question is why would the plugin EVER need to send an unencrypted transaction?
Surely anything going to Eway would need to be encrypted.
We found your plugin after the official Eway plugin was trashed given performance problems.
They pointed us in the your direction.
Otherwise it works great. Here’s hoping you can assist.

Hi,
I just want to ask why the transaction id is not appearing on order details and just appearing on custom fields?
I have installed the free eway payment gateway plugin, activated it in the woocommerce payment settings, added sandbox api key, password and client side encryption key. When going to the checkout I receive a message “No payment methods available”
WordPress 6.5
PHP 8.2
enabling logging in the plugin does not give any logs
no php errors in server error log
Any help would be appreciated

Hi there just wondering if there is pathway to make this plugin 8.1 compliant as we get loads of depreciation errors on 8.1 with it currently. Thanks Rob.

]]>Hi there. From time to time we get this error. 9 times out of 10 works fine. But not always. I cannot see any Javascript errors on our check out page. The account and encryption keys etc are set up and we process quite a lot of orders each day with success across various payment gateways including eway. Do you have any suggestions?
Cheers

]]>This DMARC Report shows that the SPF and DKIM is not properly aligned/match. Is this a plugin thing or an Eway thing?
These things are failed or not aligned.
SPF alignment: Does the MailFrom header match (or a partial match when using a relaxed setup) the domain from the Return-Path header.
DKIM alignment: Does the “From header” match (or a partially matched when using a relaxed setup) the domain which signed the DKIM. d=domain in the DKIM signature.
SPF Verdict: SPF records are evaluated on two criteria for DMARC compliance: authentication and alignment. DMARC relies on these standards to reach full compliance. The SPF verdict is the combination of Auth and Alignment and is present in the raw DMARC report.
DKIM Verdict: DKIM are evaluated in two ways: authentication and alignment. An email passes DKIM authentication when correctly signed by the d= domain in the DKIM header. The Alignment is based off of the “adkim” record.

]]>Hi,
About a month ago I was receiving duplicate orders through WooCommerce. I was never able to reproduce this error myself. The problem went away for a bit but has now come back today. Customer said they had an error message on the screen after clicking the place order button and had to go back and submit the order again thinking it did not work. I am also in contact with WooCommerce support but they have not figured out the problem. Just wondering if it may be caused by this plugin or not.
Thanks.

Hi,
There is a broken image logo on the Checkout page of my website. If you look at the right hand side whilst having “Credit card” checked, you can see it. How can I fix this?
]]>Whenever the WooCommerce transaction fails, this plugin generates an error notice like this:
> Transaction failed
> (D4465)
I had a dig around for a filter to hopefully make these a bit more customer friendly. There seems to be a lot of infrastructure for more detailed messages (i.e. EwayResponse::getCodeDescription), but I can’t see that any of it is hooked up. I also can’t seen an obvious filter point.
Is there a recommended approach to customising these?
]]>This plugin is a godsend, thank you. We were spending so much time tweaking the order-pay, order-received endpoints to make the official Woo eWay plugin look and work well, but it still caused customer friction (abandoned carts).
Anywho, when I first set it up, I got the “Account not PCI Certified” error, so I went and tracked down the encryption key for both my regular account and sandbox account, and all is working well.
EXCEPT…
When a card is entered on Customer Payment Page (after we make the order internally and send them a link), I get the “Account not PCI Certified” error messages there. It’s as if part of the plugin isn’t loading in that context?

]]>Hi,
I’m getting failed orders to our site. The order notes displays this message?
Error posting eWAY request: 401, Unauthorized Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
What does that mean?
]]>EWay says that our site has been used for Bin attacks. We have a ReCaptcha on the checkout page but apparently this isn’t stopping the attacks. EWay claims that after the ReCaptcha is ticked, multiple (presumably bot-generated) attempts at different credit card numbers are possible, so now they require that each failed payment attempt should redirect to another page.
Is this possible with your plugin? Is there a webhook function we could use?
]]>Hey there, I’ve been using this plugin for a long time, and Eway just asked if we want to be upgraded to allow Amex.
I’m wondering does this plugin allow Amex payments with eWay?
]]>V6126: Invalid encrypted card number, decryption failed Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
From time to time this happens at check out. Same person will then check out ( using eway) and its fine. Sometimes they abort. Reading the error logs on eway it states that this is a private key type issue but as most orders process fine and it only happens now and again and then the same people on the same device and the same browser then reprocess fine I am wondering if you have any pointers for me on how to resolve this?

Cheers have a good day.
]]>Hi,
Would you consider creating a filter for the Capture/PreAuth payment method type?
Real life use case: some products can be directly captured, while some should be preauth and manually OK’d from eWay.
If I’ve overlooked something and there’s already a way to do this per product basis, please let me know, thank you.
]]>We have been using eway for years without issue. Now clients from time to time get this issue at checkout. Transaction failed
V6111: Unauthorised API Access, Account Not PCI Certified
V6010: Invalid TransactionType, account not certified for eCome only MOTO or Recurring available Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
Seems to be a Javascript issue. 95% of the time it works fine but sometimes it doesnt. What is the fix as this issue is not a consistent issue ( worst ones to diagnose). Also happens if an Afterpay payment fails and then the client tries to use eway. If no solution i will switch to another payment gateway for credit cards.
]]>received a few emails from website says the order has failed. normally another email will be received from eway telling the reason. but i didn’t receive the email. so i rang eway and was told there is no payment data send to eway. Could you please have a look for me?
appreciated for your help.
Regards,
shane
Hi there. We notice that sometimes customers will use Afterpay to pay for orders and sometimes this payment will fail ( normal behaviour). If the customer then tries to pay by credit card using the eway gateway then the payment errors as follows:
Transaction failed
V6111: Unauthorised API Access, Account Not PCI Certified
V6010: Invalid TransactionType, account not certified for eCome only MOTO or Recurring available Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.
Usual payments via eway credit card function normally without the error message above it only happens if the customer has tried first with Afterpay. We have contacted eway who have looked at their logs. they are telling us that the payments are failing in these instances as once they have tried Afterpay the payments are then being sent to them unencrypted and they fail them using the message above. they have told us to contact you via this method to advise you of the issue and for you to make code amendments to resolve the issue. the issue is fairly infrequent but is none the less an issue. Thanks!
