I didn’t find much content about this, but I would like to know if it is possible to use ewww with cloudinary to use the webp function, so that when supported, images can be delivered in webp format
If it is not possible, someone knows a way to use cloudinary and deliver images in webp
]]>If I install and then decide to uninstall this plugin, is my site exactly as it was before the installation?
For example, although my query is not limited to this notification, upon testing uninstallation, I still have the following notification at the top of my site:
Enable Media Replace is now compatible with ShortPixel!
ShortPixel is an image optimization plugin and if you have it activated, upon replacing an image in Enable Media Replace, the image will be also automatically optimized.
While I can dismiss the notification, I’m concerned that the plugin has not completely removed itself or left some settings permanently changed. Please confirm this is not the case before I install on production site.
]]>Hello,
Before downloading this plug in, I have some questions. Can you please help me understand..
– What is a good standard for optimal image size? Does this tool have a target kb or reduction % it aims for?
– How does this tool know how low to smush without losing quality?
– Can sizes be set for images that will be used differently on the site, like a product photo versus a banner photo?
– Will we need to continue to compress/optimize images in advance of uploading them and compressing them? Do we need to worry about an image being over smushed?
– Are there file types that this will not compress?
– Will multiple versions be created in the media gallery after they are uploaded, converted file type and compressed?
Curious,
Jennifer

Hi guys,
I have noticed that the server waiting time extends to 17 seconds when using PHP 7.0.14 along with EWWW Image Optimizer Cloud. It occurs when a user is accessing the front page blog. You may need to optimize the plugin to accommodate for PHP 7.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael
Hi!
We have recently signed up to the API and first off, I want to say that it seems to be doing the job very nicely!
My question is two part. We have a multi install with over 100 sites and we also use NextGen Galleries. Fistly how do I optimise the existing images within NG Galleries without adding the location to “Folders To Optimise” within network admin?
NextGen is quite happy with a path like this: “/wp-content/blogs.dir/%BLOG_ID%/files/” but changing this to a non relative path like this: “/wp-content/blogs.dir/” would mean that any one of the blogs administrators could easily start the bulk optimisation process of in excess of 250,000 images on the entire platform!
If we enable it site by site I can of course specify the settings for each site but I really like the idea of the settings being at network level.
Any help will be appreciated!
Kind regards,
Shane
