Hi @tbenyon, man! what an amazing plugin you have created! I stumbled upon this one an hour ago. I was a little afraid it wouldn’t work since it hasn’t been updated in a while, but luckily it seems to work without a problem with version 6.4.3. I really congratulate you, the plugin looks very good and offers very useful options. I think I am in tune with the feeling of the entire community when saying THANK YOU! (yes, in very huge capital letters).
I have a little question. I wouldn’t dare bother you with direct advice, I’ll just settle for you to please give me a couple of pieces of tips that point me in the right direction: I have two websites “A” and “B” made with WordPress. “A” has the content and “B” has the users. Is it possible for “A” to use “B’s” users without adding data to “A’s” wp_users and wp_usermeta tables? I ask this question because I noticed that when I log in with a user from “B”, it automatically adds a user record on “A’s” DB tables, which is not what I want, but just enable users from “B” on the website “A”, is that possible? Thank you.

This plugin is great! It extend possibilities of making front-end user profile so we can use other database (for example Minecraft Bukkit Server and AuthMe plugin). This great plugin have special hooks thanks to which we can add additional functionalities to our theme.
The only limitation is the ability to add only one additional database, but with the appropriate structure and thinking about the whole operation, it is not a big problem ??

This plugin is awesome. It saves my life !
I can use a different database than the WordPress one.
I have an application that automatically creates user and password when user subscribes to the app and with this plugin no need to recreate user in WordPress it is totally automatic.
If user changes password in my main app, when he tries to connect to WordPress with his new password it logins without any other action.
And cherry on the cake, the author is ready to help us when we are have any problem.
He can be proud of his plugin.

This plugin is a lifesaver! I have an old SMF forum (uses MySQL database and SHA1 encryption) with thousands of members and have been wanting to create a more modern site to augment/replace it, but didn’t want my members to have to register again. This plugin solved all my problems! Members just go to the new site and use their existing SMF credentials. It’s extremely full-featured and intuitive to use. And works as advertised. This plugin works out of the gate. It will sniff your remote database user out and create a new identical user in the WordPress database with the correct password Hash. Just map your remote database columns to a handful of key columns located inside the wp_users table and the data will be mirrored inside your WordPress database. Mapping of these columns is done inside the WordPress Admin area with a few clicks.
It worked straight away, the first time we tried it! The developer’s response to questions inside the support forum links are useful for further information. He appears to be very helpful and positive in nature with questions posed there. I would encourage you to go look there because he may have answered additional questions you may have.

I came across this plugin while researching ways to let users from an existing site log into a new site an have an account automatically created with their existing credentials.
After posting in the support forum with some questions/feature requests, Tom was super-quick to not only reply, but to also actually add the features I needed/wanted. The plugin works great and I couldn’t be happier with Tom’s responsiveness. I’d give 10 stars if could.

I used this plugin as my site began with a custom section with login coded in. I then added a separate wordpress section for a different purpose. This plugin has been great to enable my users to login to both sections with the same login. It is simple and it works!
