Hi, with your plugin. What happens if the source changes their image urls?
Thanks
]]>what is the wp cli comment for adding Featured Image external URL to post
]]>Dear Contact Person
Hello. I would like to ask a question about this plugin.
Is there a way to get the URL of the image set in the External URL Featured Image?
I would like to modify the template to include the notation “citation”.
Can I use the WordPress rest api to set the url of a featured image?
]]>Hi:
I’m using a plugin that automatically select the first external image in the post as featured image. It works a 90% of times, but sometimes it can’t extract some url.
So I installed your plugin to paste directly the url.
Your plugin works fine, but the thumbnail images showed can’t be cached by my CDN in extranoticias.r.worldssl.net
Could you suggest something?
Best regards,
Javier.
Hi there,
Tried you plugin with the Newspaper theme and the image doesn’t show up. Is it compatible? Can you assist in checking why it doesn’t work?
Thanks and would really appreciate it.
]]>hi Jhon
Thank you for this plugin
This is one of the best plugin if it works
Please make it compatible with the new version wordpress
With respect
I see the external image option on the blog post page, however, no image actually displays. The normal feature image, which requires you to upload a file, does display an image on my theme.
I’m using the Jupiter theme. I don’t see anything that is overtly preventing the external image from being displayed.
]]>Hello,
This plugin uses one image as placeholder and the main image as background, and no alt attribute for img type. This cause a W3C error, Nelio using alt for both and that lead to duplicate attribute W3C error. Is this possible to specify different alt to the same placeholder for different posts? then remove background alt.
Thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for your work on this, looks great!
However, what I was looking for and maybe you could consider this, would be to add a url that grabs a ‘screenshot’ of a site.
Happy to test it for you!
Now that would be perfect!
Many Thanks
