I hope this plugin is still maintained. I have 7 thousands of subscribers on my WP site, so it tooks more than 240 MB of server’s RAM to load the queries. I hope there’s a better solution for auto complete feature using AJAX search.

I just wanted to say first, thank you for the plugin, nice job! I really like it, and I’m using it both personally and professionally. I was writing today to see if you’d be interested in adding an update to it.
Is it possible to allow for shortcode execution within a template? So far, as I can see, no, but I don’t think it should be that difficult to include it, should it? For example, the following code allows for shortcode execution through a filter for the widget area:
add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');
If you’re wondering the importance of including this feature, here’s my use case. You have a site wide email that goes out and at the bottom of the email it includes 5 recent news articles from a shortcode that has to grab the data first and then output the html code.

]]>Plugin doesn’t send out registration emails to new users.
It’s seems to be a known issue.
Running 2.2.12 and WP 4.4.2
When adding a new user, registration email goes to admin but not to new user (subscriber). Both custom registration messages have been filled in on Settings tab with different texts.
Having added user and sending to all subscribers in Send Email tab results in email being received by subscriber.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

For some reason when installing this plugin on my classipress (appthemes) theme, i can’t post a new ad anymore. I get a 404 after choosing a category and clicking next. It uses a hash code in my browser.. not sure why but when disabling/enabling your pluging the issue gets resolved/occurs.

Once I installed your plugin I got this error:

Wanted to check to see if anyone else has has this issue, all of my emails from Wordfence come on the template which is nice but the text is all together and in bold. Not sure what is going on when I have the plugin turned off it comes across normal with break between the sentences. I can go into the php file if needed but not sure why its happening.

Would it be possible to alter the way this plugin sends emails so that each user gets their own email so that each user doesn’t see the mass subscriber list.
Also, is it possible to add a shortcode to have the email include the users name.

I am wanting to use the customize registration emails I put the information in there but for some reason it still sends the regular email, it doesn’t seem to be picking up the customization. Any suggestions on what to do to get it to work?

I do have a question, I have users signing up and the registration emails are coming from WordPress, I do have my email address in there and have it choosen to use the template I created, but it still comes from WordPress is there a way to change that and have it come from my email I placed in – settings – senders email?

Ez Emails doesn’t work correctly with multi site installations? It seems to work OK with the first site but you can’t select a default template when you go into any of the other sites on your network?

I’ve read the other incident reports about failure to send where the resolution appeared to be increasing the max limit of outbound emails permitted by the hosting server.
Based on that, I’ve been having calls with my hosting service, and they have bumped my limit 3 times… to the point where I am now almost 4x the number of recipients for the email… and it is still failing to connect.
The hosting provider has checked the email log files and can’t find anything on the logs indicating any form of error.
All attempts to send the exact same contents and the same header to 1-5 users works fine. My overall Member list is 120+… and it chokes every time. My limit is now up to 750 and it is still not “instantiating”.
Clues? Advice?

I have just installed EZ mail and I have created a template which includes a jpg picture as banner. I can see the banner while I’m entering the message text. But when the email is sent the receiver does no see the banner picture.
Any suggestion to solve this problem?

I know you in the settings you can change the scope of roles who can send emails but is it possible to change/add to the scope of roles who can receive emails (i.e. recipients)?
For example, I have a membership site and members’ role is ‘Members’ and I want to send an email to all registered members, not just default WP ‘Subscribers’ who are a different role altogether.
Can this be done without editing core plugin files?

]]>First of all, HUGE fan of the plugin. And the recent update that lets you drag and drop groups is the best update yet! My problem is that it is not compatible with s2member groups. It doesn’t list Bronze, Silver, etc and only Free, Contributor, etc.
