Too bad. Was a simple, effective way to inject comments into FB. Gave other plugins a run for their money and now the developer assumes we want to go with another, vastly unknown commenting social “system” that “reimagines comments”?

No matter how many app ID-s used, how many config settings tried it only says: “0 Comments”. Tried on multiple sites with same results … don’t waste your time.

Initially the plugin duplicated the comments field, I tried other plugins, but they did not work, like that Social Comments, so I reactivated Facebook Comments and it worked.
I have no idea what happened before.

Been using this one a year ago. Worked fine. But after update (after a year), there is no option to add API key, like before. So something is wrong.
Using php 7 this time, maybe that is a reason, but php7 is the future, not planing to look back.
Btw comments disapeared, or in the other words: did not synchronize with posts. Come on dude, fix it. ??

Hello,

We have this theme website and something strange happens.

When you open some posts sometimes it shows the Facebook Comments Box and sometimes no. There is no any pattern of that.

Just randomly show’s the Facebook Comments Box.

Do you can help me with any suggestion?

Hello. I need help – yesterday i updated Facebook comments plugin from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 version and here is some big error – White Blank space without any comments.
Please help us soon as possible.
At the moment i disabled this GREAT but now broken plugin.

Version 2.3.6 fixes the previous issue. It works again.

The latest update 2.3.5 is broken

All FB comments vanished leaving page-tall whitespace. I tried downgrading to 2.3.4, 2.3.3, and 2.3.2, too. Neither of them worked now. It was working fine yesterday.

2.3.5 doesn’t work. Adds about 8 inches of white space with no Comments section like the fellow before me reported. Downgrading to 2.3.4, 2.3.3 has same results as 2.3.5 — perhaps you’ve changed a script on your end that’s changed functionality.

Is there a way you can restore 2.3.4 please. It was working beautifully until yesterday’s update.

I won’t put something negative for a plugin that does something that I ultimately was too lazy to code myself, the plugin seems to work but I’d really like to know what the function “fbstats” does.
Seems to me that it adds tracking of my website to an unknown tracker. I disabled the function…

It′s good and working, but it is in bad position, before info of the Post Writer(ex.: ADMIN) profile and not after info of the Writer.
This can′t manually insert with the code to the page… Always is before ??

This plugin has been working great for me for over 5 years. I’m not sure why people are negatively rating it as it works great. I’ve used it on multiple themes on shared hosting up through dedicated hosting without any issues. Great stuff, thanks for creating it!

Good plugin but still some issue during this plugin is that the inline link stuffing occurring. I searched for a setting to show this off, however, cannot realize one. I actually have credit unrestrained and see the source code.

Dear Alex, thanks for this plugin that I found excellent!
Since few days I’ve got problems with it and I don’t know why.
The plugin works perfectly in chrome and in mobile but in firefox doesn’t appears anymore (i’m running last version of firefox and your plugin)
the only things I did recently is to install the “W3 cache plugin”, which I now unistalled completely but your plugin still doesn’t appear in firefox.
do you think the W3 plugin crashed with your plugin, even if I unistalled?
