There are no answers sins months and I think the programmer has stopped working. If so than please let us know.

A few days ago it worked properly and today it does not work.
I checked on several servers and it’s not the fault of the php server etc.
Please update.

First of all the plugin is amazing, I really apreciate your work, please add something on the plugin so we can donate to this project to keep this working and get update, Im intersted in make a donation.

Second, the automatic import is not working, only manual, I believe is because the time settings on the blog or something, I found some problems when you import if you time settings are different that the facebook page you are importing then the import fails because the time/date is different and maeby the plugin wants to import in a time in the past and its imposible.

There is something wrong with the automatic import because it doesnt work, you need to reset the import settings and import manually to import the posts.

I really hope you fix it, this is an amazing plugin and is very usefull to some people like me, thanks in advance.

Hi, I enabled commenting for newly created articles but still the articles created by this plugin do not allow comments. I have to enable the by hand.
I can’t figure out why, any help would be appreciated.

There’s a typo error in line 5 at facebook-fanpage-import/templates/photo.php

should be

Could you please fix this in the next release?

I have taken a look at images being imported from Facebook and the images are being imported at the bottom of the posts too small. Is there anyway to import them at their regular size?

Ich finde das Plug-in super und verwende es auf verschiedenen Seiten. Auf einer l?uft es super, auf der zweiten bis gestern und auf der dritten gar nicht. Trotz der aktuellen WordPressversion hatte ich bisher keine Probleme. Auf der Seite, auf der es bis jetzt problemlos lief, zeigt es nach dem Import das es lediglich “Eintr?ge importiert bis 2. Februar 2017 – 16:28” importiert hat, die natürlich bereits vorhanden sind.
Auf der Seite, wo es funktioniert erhalte ich ebenfalls die Nachricht “Eintr?ge importiert bis 20. Februar 2017 – 15:46”, allerdings hat es sauber importiert. Auf der letzten Seite erfolgt kein Import, allerdings ohne jedwede Meldung. Ich freue mich über jede Hilfe.

On the development log, it says:

Added option 500 and 1000 for number of posts which have to be imported

on beta 3, but my install still shows only the option until 100.

My version is beta 7.

I suggest including in the beginning of get_post_title function the following code:

if ( property_exists( $entry, 'name' ) ) {
   $post_title     = $entry->name;
   }

   ...

My fanpage is composed mostly by links, and in this way post title becomes the link title, which is more appropriated.

thanks for your great addon. You should change the way, attachments are inserted, because this will lead to thmubnailless zombies which can be a bit of a hassle if you use a theme which depends on thumbnails.

Simple fix:
After

'post_content' => $post_excerpt, so that themes can strip down the content for themselves. Better would be to add an option how many chars of the imported message should be inserted as an excerpt.

Furtheron you’ve forgotten to insert the correct category. I’ve hardcoded it for myself with
'post_category' => array(11)
Maybe you can fix this in your next release.

Seit einigen Tagen wird kein Thumbnail mehr genereriert. WordPress zeigt nur ein Thumbnail mit der Gr??e 1×1 an. In der Mediengallerie werden die Fotos auch nicht mehr angezeigt. Abhilfe schafft nur das Plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails”. Bitte den Bug beheben, Plugin ist ansonsten spritze.

das Plugin hat perfekt funktioniert. Leider funktioniert es seit 2 Wochen nicht mehr.
Selbst das Menü mit den Einstellungen ist im WordPress nicht mehr verfügbar und es werden keine Fotos mehr importiert.

Bitte checken und updaten. Das Plugin war weltklasse!

I tried to install the latest version of the plugin but after activation I cannot set the FanPageID as requested. I also don’t see the entry in the settings. The error message I am getting is “ComponentFacebookFanpageImportAdminSettings kann nicht geladen werden.”

The isn’t importet correctly.
Following url is stored inside the custom field:
https://www.facebook.com/yvonnewillicks7012//posts/926028784172964

There is a “/” to much between the fanpagepage slug and the “post” url base.

You also should only link to
facebook.com/%post_id%
otherwise the link will be broken when the fanpage url changes.

I have this plugin installed on a couple of sites and I’ve discovered a problem:
The plugin adds text to the manual excerpt field. This is problematic when you have a theme that uses the automatic excerpt with custom lengths etc.

Could you maybe add an option that you can check if you want to add text to manual excerpt or not.

Also, the import doesn’t work if you select 1000 posts. I could only get it to work with 100 or below.

the plugin imports only Fanpage Content, if I post from a personal profil to a fanpage it not imports this content. How could I change this?

How could I define the image size that the plugin imports?
