The FAQ plugin was last updated a year ago and isn’t compatible with PHP 8. Are you planning on continuing to maintain this plugin? If so, when do you expect the next update?

When we apply a theme of any type to our FAQ the theme doesn’t work.
We also get an error when trying to publish the wordpress page.
“Updating failed. the response is not a valid JSON response.
Im still in information gathering state, i could like the have 2 level of FAQ pages. 1st level – FAQ home page URL might https://www.company.com/faq – this page list all the FAQ categories. 2nd level page is category page, URL like https://www.company.com/faq/categoryname – this page will list all the FAQ’s under that category in accordion view. 3rd level page which is individual FAQ page, URL like https://www.company.com/faq/title-of faq – this page show only the specific FAQ.
Also individual FAQ page have proper google structure scheme to show the result in google as Question and Answers?
Then apply custom design to modify the default plugin theme.
What are all the possibilities to achieve this using this plugin?

Hi, I’m using multiple FAQ shortcodes in various sections of my page and am unable to expand my questions. Having only 1 shortcode on a page allows me to expand the FAQ with no issue, but adding more than 1 breaks the functionality.
Expand all is working as expected.

I translated a copy of faq-wd-cs_CZ.po into Czech language, but the original faq-wd-cs_CZ.po file on FTP cannot be overwritten or deleted by FTP. Can I upload the translated file faq-wd-cs_CZ.po directly to a plugin folder?

]]>Search for anything and this plugin will return the results. What it does not do is give you a way to return to the MAIN FAQ webpage after viewing those results. Using the browser back button does not work. I reported this in chat weeks ago, but I did not receive any follow-up response.
If you go to my website, you will see that I have added a “RETURN TO MAIN FAQs” link to the FAQ webpage. So the fix is rather easy, but your design should already include such a feature. Or am I missing something? Without the link I added, how would I get back to the main FAQ section?
What if you’d not continue a subscription, would all plugins still work afterwards i.e. they still function fully but cannot be updated?

]]>When Sublanguage plugin is installed alongside FAQ WD, all translated pages return 404. As soon as FAQ plugin is disabled, translated pages appear normally.

Using loco translate plugin.

Plugin does not declare a “Text Domain” .. Loco has guessed “faq-wd”
Seems this is the cause!
Loco guessed faq-wd and is faqwd.
You have to put faqwd as domain and file prefix for it to work.

Current link your.wp/wp-admin/admin.php?bundle=faq-wd%2Ffaq_wd.php&page=loco-plugin&action=cnf
If you had already translated you’ll have to find where loco put it (/wp-content/language/loco/plugins was the default) rename your faq-wd-xx_XX.po to faqwd-xx_XX.po

I want to be able to show certain FAQs based on their categories, on certain pages – so we only have one copy of each question, which sits in the FAQWD plugin vs. using divi versions also.
For example, we would have a divi block on the example page which would just have a shortcode or something, and any FAQs that had the category “eample-page-faqs” would show in that position. This could be 2, or 3, or 10. And the styling would be different on each page as it is now, it’s just the content that would come from the plugin.
Is it possible to achieve through paid plugin or customisation?

So if anyone clicks on it it will be displayed for a few seconds and then it collapse back again.

The translation feature is still not working for me.
I want to translate in French. I add the french translation via the menu “Add translation”. New po+mo files are written in the “uploads” folder (not great but acceptable).
Problem:
* French translations are still not picked up in the front-end. They remain English.
* Menu “Translations” does not show me the previous added french translations. Bug ?
* I copied the language files from “uploads” folder to this folder “/wp-content/plugins/faq-wd/languages”. Not better.
* I use Loco Translate to translate the plugin. Not better.
How to get this plugin translated ?
