]]>Hi, I’m running the latest version of your plugin and everything is up-to-date on my site.
I’ve been adding some listings to the site with the free version but have noticed a few glitches which seem to be noticeable on the site when you are not logged in.
On one page, when logged in you get the results in a grid of 4 columns and 6 rows which I set up on the page.
However, when you view the page incognito it shows all the results in a single column.
On another page (the one I’ve linked to) the page shows fine in a similar 4 columns, 6 rows style when logged in, but when logged out the results never load and you just get the loading message.
I’ve disabled all the caching and optimisations on the site but the results are still the same.
Can you help?
]]>You may have heard the news that eBay is deprecating their older FindingAPI and ShoppingAPI, with a plan to decommission them 5th Feb 2025. It’s not the first time eBay has made drastic changes to your API, like past deprecation of RSS services.
However, REST assured (pun intended), Fast eBay Listings is not using these deprecated APIs and is already using the newer eBay REST BrowseAPI. Fast eBay Listings was migrated to the new BrowseAPI back in 202, well ahead of time and has been running stable with the new API for several years.
You do not need to do anything and will see no loss of service. Be assured that I will always endeavour to maintain Fast eBay Listings to stay abreast of any API changes that may happen in the future.
All the best!
Arthur
]]>Hello, does the plugin also work for the classifieds market? This used to belong to Ebay, then Ebay-Kleinanzeigen.

]]>I have a few questions about cacheing. How does page cacheing affect this plugin? I’m using Litespeed cache at the moment. Is it the output of the plugin that gets cached such that the eBay listings shown on a page may become stale if the cached page is not purged and updated within a short period of time? If that is the case could edge side includes be used to cache the page but not the plugin output?
Thanks!
]]>As you may or may not be aware, the eBay Partner Network (EPN) have been enforcing adherence to their latest Network Agreement terms which are in turn ensuring affiliated sites are compliant with recent FTC, ASA and other regional advertising laws. To help you remain compliant and continue to earn revenue from the EPN, Fast eBay Listings has had a few recent enhancements to assist you.
These changes have been implemented Fast eBay Listings adheres to the terms set by EPN and recent laws, which are out of my control. Ultimately, we want to continue earning good revenue from eBay without getting kicked off the EPN.
More info can be found here: Fast eBay Listings – EPN Affiliate Disclosure Guidance.
]]>Arthur, I need an eli5 explanation of how to use the dynamic search widget. Do I use the usual Fast eBay Search block or do I need to use shortcode? I want to use the title of the post as the search term. Thanks.
]]>Just found this plugin and finally addresses most of the requirements. I have 2 questions :
Thank to Arthur for creating such a great plugin. For inspiration and to allow others to get the best out of this plugin, are there any users on here willing to share links to where they are utilising this plugin?
Cheers guys.
Does this plugin not work with the Cars & Trucks category on eBay? I entered 6001 as the category default but I get no listings to return based on my query. I’m trying to replicate this search result:

]]>Is there an option for using this plugin on more than 3 sites? I currently use WP eBay Product Feeds which is slightly cheaper and can be used on unlimited sites. But, I would like to try this plugin given it doesn’t use RSS and I would like to compare the two in terms of click through rate etc.
I believe WP eBay Product Feeds has an overall API call limit. Not sure about this plugin.
]]>Is there a way to utilize two categories for search rather than just one. As an example many people list their vintage calculators under “Vintage Calculators” in ‘Consumer Electronics’ but others don’t realize that category exists and list them under “Calculators” in ‘Business and Industrial’. Same with vintage stereos that get listed in either vintage electronics or home audio.
]]>To the left of the Results Title “Right Now on eBay” there is a broken image icon that is displayed on my site. Is there supposed to be an eBay icon there? And, where would I find that icon since it doesn’t seem to have been loaded when I downloaded the plugin?
Also, it seems the Results Title “Right Now on eBay” is just an unattributed link to eBay. Is it possible to make it just a heading – not a link? Anyone clicking it now will go to eBay unattributed. Is it no-followed for SEO purposes?
Thanks!

]]>Hi!
There have been many exciting new features released this last couple of months. Here’s a quick rundown of them:
Colour scheme options
You can now choose in the plugin settings a white on black, black on white colour scheme, or inherit from your theme. Ideal to ensure text has sufficient contrast and fits well with your site.
Priority Listings
Items on eBay marked as priority listings earn a higher rate of commission, and so Fast eBay Listings will now highlight these and draw their visitors to them. This should push more click-throughs and sales on these items earning you more money.
Check out the EPN pages for more details on exact commission rates for priority listings.
Filter Search Results by Seller Type and Buying Options
You can no filter search results based on seller type: Any, Business (stores) or Individuals.
Similarly, you can filter on buying options: auction, fixed price, and best offers.
This can be great to ensure you present just items from stores and/or fixed priced items, where you can drive visitors to buy immediately and within the 24 hour EPN cookie period.
These search filters are available in the shortcode visual editors, the block editor and on widgets.
UI Improvements
The admin pages and the classic editor visual dialog have been improved with a tab-based UI that is less cluttered and easier to use.
Hope you’re enjoying the plugin, do let me know if you have any feature requests or suggestions.
]]>Just want to apologise for a mishap in version 2.3. A file required for the install was somehow missed out and caused an error in WordPress when trying to upgrade/activate the plugin.
This was promptly addressed in version 2.3.1 which was released a couple of hours later. Please skip version 2.3 and go straight to version 2.3.1. Apologies for the inconvenience.
]]>I’m pleased to announce version 2.0.0 of Fast eBay Listings has now been released. This release brings some big changes to the plugin:
I have tested the plugin as thoroughly as I could, but if you do encounter any issues, bugs or weird behaviour, do let me know and I will strive to fix things as fast as I can.
Note the new eBay API has some known limitations compared to the older legacy APIs the plugin used to use.
These are all down to eBay’s API implementation, some are likely to change in the future (the single category limit for one), but others are out of my hands, unfortunately.
All the best,
Arthur.
The plugin describes 50% of links will assign commission to the author, that’s fine, people need to eat.
It seems (using the widget) that when I test it, with 4 links loading, ALL links go to the author, then upon page reload all go to me. That’s one way to do it but maybe make that more clear in the description (or make 50% of displayed links go to the author?)
Otherwise setup was pretty smooth. Documentation could be improved (there is several widgets, I dont know the exact differences between them though)
]]>News in from eBay:
“At the end of June, the Dynamic Feed Generator will be globally decommissioned, and we ask that you move off of it completely no later than June 30. We will not be replacing the Feed Generator”
As such, the RSS feed features in the Fast Ebay Listings plugin will likely stop working. But fear not, Fast Ebay Listings already supports alterntive methods that us the Ebay Search API. Please swap all RSS feed shortcodes/widgets for Search ones.
