I have purchased the premium version, followed all steps, and #fb-og-actions-sidebar-iframe appears in my sidebar. However, I can’t get past the following message when trying to submit the Read action in Facebook.

“You must publish at least one action to your Timeline using this action type”

What am I missing?

Hi, I\’ve just purchased a premium ver of fbsocialreader. It works fine with \”normal\” post type, but this ver doesn\’t work with my 2 custom post types ( i checked my 2 custom post types in settings )

Hi,
I’ve followed all the steps shown on the plugin settings page.
Next, I put the widget on the sidebar.

However, the widget loadings for forever, it won’t show up.

Any ideas why?

What’s the best route to add custom CSS to this without risking the chance of it being overwritten when updates are made?

Overall, this plugin works great. Just want to fix a few padding and font-size issues.

I installed that on pkfoot.com but it seems that the function gathering the “is_publishing” bool is caching to query to db. I always get the result (bool = 1) that i accept sharing even if i disabled it later.

Do u know why?

Hi Chris,

I am currently using a connect button on my site which helps me register my users to wordpress.

I however need to add the FB id, added and is_publishing info to your plugin’s table in order for your plugin to work (assuming they are both using the same app and both have open graph action active in the auth box).

My question as this will require a bit of coding, do you have any intention of moving away from this DB structure? Or should I try another route to integrate? (No coding on your plugin, only the connect plugin I am working on)

It should be noted that I’ve simply had to remove this plugin, despite owning the Premium version.
Why?
During the period I’ve been toiling to make it work correctly, I notice Google Analytics reports that my site’s page load speed has skyrocketed from an average of 10 or so seconds up to a massive 50+ seconds. That simply can’t be tolerated in this day and age.

Plugin needs some serious Optimisation work to be of effective benefit. Kind silly to foster Facebook activity when the site loads deplorably slow. No one is likely to stick around.

What can be done about this?

In the past and especially with FB plugins, I’ve always found conflicts of some sort.
I was wondering whether your plugin can work side by side with both the AddThis sharing plugin and the SEO for WordPress by Yoast plugin?

Any ideas?
