Could you please advise me on whether or not the plug-in Facebook Sharing can be used specifically to post items from a WordPress site to a Facebook group to which members have subscribed rather than to my personal Facebook account for friends to see. My interest in using the Plugin is to improve student learning and I do not want this type of interaction to spill over into my personal and private correspondence with friends on Facebook.
]]>When FB Sharing adds post to FB, there is no formatting from post, all text is in one block, and characters like a dash – don’t work.
Posts with slider shortcodes, have no photos, just list of text from photos added at bottom of post ‘block’.
Used free version then bought Pro version, thinking there was more control over posts, but results are just the same.
Am I missing something?
I’d like to be able to post the updated article in a new facebbok posting.
Sometimes there is no need to update the old posting. Like in updated top5 listing or similar.

it would be wonderful if one could select if the featured image will be used on facebook, or if another picture could be chosen.
It is often immense cheaper to buy licences fdor pictures if you comply to not share them on facebook, but only on your blog/webpage.
First it should be possible to disable the use of the picture in facebook posting.
Best way i could think of right now is to select a picture to be chosen per post for facebook share with a fallback to an default picture (this to be set in general plugin control).

I am not sure if this is related to your plug-in.
After I have upgraded to the latest version 1.0.10 of your plug-in, ALL my previously synced articles have been deleted on my Facebook page. Only the articles that have been synced with the plug-in have been deleted, all others are still there.
I have an additional test page on Facebook and also here all synced posts have been deleted. So this must be related to your plug-in.
Could this be related to the new function for updating articles in the pro version (I am not using it, but anyway)?
Please help ASAP.

When I try to set up the connection to facebook, a message appears:
‘This app is still in development mode, and you don’t have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission.
Can you pleas fix it?

Hi- the updated version of plugin failed to post scheduled posts and the following error codes were produced when I attempted to edit a post. Previous version seemed to work correctly.

just trying to use your plug-in, but I found some challenges with it (I will open separate issues).
A text contains a hyphen (“-“) which is displayed as “–” on the facebook page.
Also other characters are not shown correctly. E.g. 3 dots “…” are shown as … on FB.
Can you help?

I would like the FB auto-posts to link back to my WP blog.
Could you publish not as “simple” text with an image, but with a clickable link to the original post please?… and in this “link” mode include the featured image in the link preview would be nice, when there’s a featured image defined on the post.
Nothing urgent… but would be great.

could you please consider moving the location of the fb-sharing settings entry in the admin menu under options (or réglages, in french)?
There’s indeed no need for a “full” entry (that takes lots of space & attention) in the menu for something you have to visit once and then forget… since your plugin is so easy to configure! (bravo).

I can’t manage to uncheck your option to publish to FB: I click to uncheck, but as soon as I save/update/publish my post it turns back to a checked box.
I’m using Firefox v46.0.1 on Win8, if that helps.

I have a system that automatically publishes posts to wordpress from elsewhere, how would it be possible to publish all new posts to facebook, and as an extra bonbon, to publish only those according to certain categories or tags.

]]>I tried modifying a post already written to check if it got published in the facebook page and it didn’t happen.
I tried to write one new and program it for 2 mins later and it didn’t publish anything on facebook.
Works perfectly with immediately publishing, but the site I installed it needs post to be programmed.
I hope it is something you could solve S:
