I’m trying to show a specific list of pages in this plugin, and it’s not working. I tried sorting through different criteria, and it’s not working. What I’m trying to achieve is this: I want the list appearing in the plugin list to be the exact list of menu pages (1st level only) in that same order. Is there a way to do this other than hard-cording? Thanks in advance.

I would like to send the visit to a different link rather then having it go to the post that the featured picture is in. Sometimes it goes to a post, sometimes to a page, and sometimes to an external link. Is there any way to do this?

When I load the page all of the images from the slide show show up at once and then do not play.

I have tried deactivating all my other (jquery) plugins but it still does not work….

Hi,

I’m building a site for a client and it was requested the site was bilingual so I used qTranslate to set it up.

Feature Slideshow is on the main page showing sub-pages from a particular parent and is correctly grabbing the titles (also the translated ones) but when I use the shorttags ([:en] and [:nl]) in the description area for a page it just copies them to the description on the slideshow.

I also used normal tags (<!–:en–><!–:–>) and that also didn’t work.

Can anyone help?

When set to random, the titles that show up for the featured posts load the wrong image. The image that loads leads to the correct post, but the title of the post that loads is not correct. This doesn’t happen when the slideshow is set to load by most recent post.

Any idea what’s going wrong?

Is there any way to make Feature Slideshow show random posts rather than recent from a category?

My featured images are not showing up properly on the feature slideshow.

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the plugin, with version 1.1.1 beta.

I don’t know where to fix this bad boy. I really LOVE the functionality and look of this plugin, it would be a shame if it didn’t work.

Hi,

is it possible to make mouseover on title so when i’m under the title the image changes? It would be nice if mouseover would change the photo and on click would redirect to the site. Is it possible? Could You do that?

I went to https://jqueryglobe.com/article/feature-list and look for information but was lost at how to integrate it into wordpress since it is not a normal wordpress plugin. Any help or guide on how to install the JQuery would be appreciated.

I just updated to WordPress 3.1 and now the images aren’t working in the slideshow. When I edit the posts, they are still showing the correct Featured Image, but the Featured Image is not showing in the slideshow.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas? I don’t really want to have to downgrade to WordPress 3.05.

When i try to fill out the custom fields with:

feature_slideshow_image and put the url

it wont let me save any url when i update the page.

Does anyone know the problem?

I love the new features, but the “description” and “image text overlay” fields seem to occasionally lose their values. I think this happens sometimes when the post is edited. Has anyone else had this problem? It has happened to me about 8 times so far.

On another subject, I have a feature request — that you are able to choose which side the tabs are on.

Is there a way to make the slides links so that when you click on them they will go to a page or post?

I love this plugin! But there are a couple of issues I have run into:

1. The excerpts are being duplicated for all of my featured posts. You can see on this site what I’m talking about: https://www.raftertales.com/

2. The plugin generates a number of errors when you run the W3C validator. I’m wondering if this can be remedied in an upcoming version?

It works OK. Haven’t tried the images yet. It would be easier if you could add full css control in the advanced options. The thing is pretty huge if you have 6 posts to show.

Also a thumbnail image custom field ‘thumbnail’ would be nice.

I was very happy when I found this plugin as it suits my need perfectly. The only thing that bothers me is that the the featured images doesn’t show up. Is there anything particular I shouldn’t think about in the procedure of creating the post and selecting the featured image?

This plugin it looks great, only if it worked correctly. Used with qtranslate plugin it just deactivate the edition of post in back-end. Too bad.
