Custom post types and pages don’t often require a featured image. I’d like to suggest you add a settings page where users can select the post types where featured image reminders occur. There could be a list of all post-types, each with a checkbox. I would suggest ‘Post’ be selected by default, but ‘Page’ and other custom post types not.

Thanks for the plugin, may be in you next update, it will be nice if the plugin detect when you finally set featured image and give no alert.

currently if it alerts you of the empty feat image and you add the feat image, it still shows the same message until you click ok.
