I installed this plugin on my site to use it with Youtube channels instead of blogs. It used to work fine until a week ago when Youtube made some changes on its platform making older apps, devices and plugins to stop working. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Sorry for the late response. You can see our blog and blogroll sidebar at hdydi.com.

I also would like to change font-color on blog title.
Does anyone know how?

]]>Hello,
WP Social Blogroll is a nice plugin and shows a nice widget in the sidebar of the blog.
But only the favicons and the blog titles (including link) are shown, not the title and short preview of blog posts although the options in the settings are activated.
Someone who can solve the issue?
Regards.
Thobie
]]>I have installed the plugin and customized it. The blogroll list on the frontend of my blog shows only the links of the blogroll not the articles that belongs to the listed websites. In any way that I customize the plugin settings. Is it a problem that I have installed WordPress 4.0?
]]>I am trying to get this widget to work and having no luck. Following the WIKI and I see conflicting info;
API Key – in one place it says it is required. in another it says it is no longer required
If it is no longer required why does it not seem to be working, I have added the widget to the sidebar but nothing shows up
how do I add bookmarks /feeds for blogs I follow?
Please help
]]>I cannot get WP Social Blogroll to read my blogroll links from my blogroll. I have simple links installed and am currently running my blogroll from there. Is there a different link manager that I need to manage my links? (wp no longer has a links manager installed).
Also, the Categories options in the WP Social Blogroll is missing (may be related to the above).
]]>I added the WP Social Blogroll plugin on my website.
I can only see the links in the blogroll. There are no Feeds from the link. Can somebody tell me whats wrong?
I’m posting this because even after reading questions and answers here, it was not clear how to add the links for the blogs I want to display.
You do it from the “links” menu in your word press admin panel. D’oh!
Here is a screenshot. All the help topics here were calling it bookmarks or rss feeds, so I was not getting it!

Thanks, this really works great!
]]>Is there a way we can click on the title of the recent post of our blog roll, and it will take us to the specific post? Clicking on it shows the preview instead of taking us to the post.
Thanks
]]>Last four or five days when I try using the proper RSS code, it does not update with post title, only blog name and suddenly my blogroll reverts back to ABC order not in order of recent postings. I tried a few variastions in how to add the blogs and no matter what it does not work. Is there a recent glitch? Please help….thanks!
]]>Is it possible to sort the list of blogs by the most recent post so the ones that have been updated most recently appear at the top and the ones that haven’t been updated in a long time are at the bottom?

]]>In WP Social Blogroll, can I add links to the body of a post rather than in a sidebar widget? Is there a short code call I can make?
Thanks!!
]]>I was wondering if we could get the ability to add nofollow to the links? The XFN section does not have the ability to add nofollow. Furthermore, the ability to add nofollow to the article links grabbed from the RSS feed would be great. The XFN elements, from what I can tell, are only applied to the link that you create, not the RSS feed items.
]]>I was running a report on my blog the other day for SEO and the most used word and words on my blog are seen as “Loading” and “Close” followed by “Close Preview”. The reason being I use this plugin, which I love, and I load around 40 blog feeds into my sidebar. Now, I do not use the enable bookmark preview feature, I just show link title, article title and date, however the plugin draws the area for a preview none-the-less but just keeps it hidden and does not populate it.
My request is that the area for previews not be drawn at all unless the option is enabled. It’s aggravating from an SEO standpoint to have an unused feature become the highest keyword density on your site. In addition, for those who do use the preview, it would be best to not default the Loading text into the div as you draw the code, or Close Preview, but to instead draw that text with jQuery as needed.
Just my humble opinion as somebody trying to clean up some SEO elements on my site.
]]>i am a little bit confused.
i installed the plugin and would like to know where the tool collects the links i want to share on my blog?
Do I have another blog where “links” are stored? Or do i have to type in the links “manually” into the tool directly?
My blogroll just won’t scroll anymore… I’ve uninstalled and installed it again and still it’s stationary…
]]>For some reason this plugin conflicts with the “Better WP Security” Plugin and whenever I try and use it, it creates an error message (blank white page with error text on it). Any suggestions on what setting I can adjust to make this work?

]]>For some reason a few links don’t show the most recent post. I’ve tried installing a few other blogroll plugins and they do show the most recent posts so it isn’t an issue with the site’s rss, it’s something with the plugin.
My link page is at https://www.lastgaspgrimoire.com/further-reading/ (and for example “Dungeon of Signs” in the first category has posted much more recently than it shows)
A friend also has the same issue at https://www.necropraxis.com/
Everything else about this plugin is perfect, so if you have any idea why we might be having this issue it would be much appreciated.
]]>I can’t get this to work in the latest version of WordPress. When I click on Google API Keys it goes to a page that doesn’t allow me to sign up: https://developers.google.com/loader/signup?csw=1

Any help please?

What is wrong?
Kind regards,

Anyone else getting this one? I can’t figure it out and it’s driving me batty!!
JavaScript-file and content-directory are writable. This is no longer necessary. You should make the content-directory read-only (chmod 755) now for security-reasons.
This plugin requires only JavaScript-file itself to be writable.

]]>I have implemented the rolling style WP Social Blogroll widget at https://hdydi.com. I have observed myself and received reports from readers that all pages in the site initially show a very long list of our feeds (perhaps all?). We would prefer the “guts” of the plugin’s function not be visible to our users. I do have the JavaScript set to load in the header, so I’m not sure what more I could optimize on my end. My preference would be to use the rolling style, but not in the way it currently loads. It leaves our site looking rather unprofessional.
In addition, I’ve noticed that on occasion (I haven’t captured metrics, but I’d estimate 1 in 3 times), the rolling/5 link limit functionality never kicks in. We’re left with a long long blogroll lengthening our sidebar.
Please let me know if I can provide further detail.
]]>Hello Sir,
Thank you very much for your excellent (and free!) plugin wp-blogroll.
Sorry to bother you but I’m not be able to make the plugin work.
Probably it is not plugin’s problem but mine because I’m a new wordpress user and I can’t understand what i’ve done wrong.
I Followed all installation instructions, wiki instructions and support forum’s topics but my blogroll still does not showing posts, dates & icons for each blog item although i’ve follow all the steps that i read here.
I added all links feeds and i also incuded <?php wp_head(); ?> and <?php wp_footer(); ?> to my theme (because i read this here in support topics)
My site is https://www.faz.gr (WordPress version 3.5.1) and below i attach you screenshots of my settings page and my site’s page:

Could you PLEASE help me and tell me what i’ve done wrong?
I just want the wp blogroll behaves like blogger blogroll and showing the friendly blog’s title and its latest post item with title and icon. (example blogroll : https://goo.gl/KPjp3Q)
Is it possible to make it work like this?
Thank you very much in advantage.
PS. Again I’m very sorry if I’ve miss some critical instructions and i disturb you for nothing

]]>Whenever I access the WP Social Blogroll admin Options page, it loads, greys out the scrren and displays a small square solid grey popup that says only “error.” It has an okay button. When that’s clicked, it goes away and I haven’t found anything wrong yet.
Bug of some kind? This is fairly new. Possibly since update to 3.5.1, but I’m not sure.
I’m also getting a pinkish error banner across the top telling me to make my wp-content dir read-only (755). The thing is, it is 755. So why isn’t WPSB seeing that?
Everything seems to work, despite these messages, but it’d be nice to know what they mean.
