I can’t begin to imagine how we would have migrated our podcast site from Joomla 3.x to WordPress without this plugin. It worked flawlessly and was super easy to implement.
As much as I love the import capability, what I continue to appreciate is how it redirects old links to the new ones. Seriously–this is the gift that just keeps on giving now that our new site is live.

Very happy with this plugin. Used others in the past but this is the best one I’ve seen so far! Migrating a Joomla site to WordPress takes only minutes.
What it cannot do is migrating image galleries (that is, not as far as I know). But that’s a minor issue. All pages and content are migrated perfectly well and super fast. Saved my day since we were in need for a solution for migrating an outdated Joomla website to WordPress and this did the job perfectly well.

I have been wanting to switch my Joomla site to WordPress for a few years. I was flabbergasted with how great a job this plugin did! (With the help of support to get the settings right.) Perfect! I still have a bit of work ahead, but everything I needed and wanted and wished for was migrated over in the same order and structure it had in Joomla. My Joomla based website consists of more than 10,000 pages, cross references, tags etc.
Without having advanced knowledge in WordPress, this plugin came beyond my expectations. Beside saving weeks or days, it works smoothly.
They even helped me out when facing the problem of misconfigured modification of internal links. They proposed WP Migrate DB?to replace all links. Cudos for this as well.
It is more than worthwile to carefully check all options before starting to import.

Frederic has put a ton of great work and effort into building great plugins. The paid version is worth way more than the asking price. I have used multiple migration plugins of his for different platforms and it makes transition to WordPress so much easier.

Have had no luck in getting the premium version to work and I know it’s our fault as somehow we cannot get the plugin configured correctly. We have completed support tickets three times and still no help.
We are trying to move a Joomla version of jreviews to a new install on wordpress and purchased the premium version and the jreviews addon.
I read positive reviews on the support before purchasing, but the support is not responding as other have touted.
I’ve sent support our log files too to make it easier and still “crickets”.
I would rather have some help than write a negative review, but its been months and now remedy in site and no support.

This plugin has done everything to me. Migrating from Joomla with K2 content was pretty straightforward. I had some doubts around the redirects for the SEO, but this handles it perfectly (even after importing content if you missed the redirect checkboxes, just check them and click save!).
I would pay for it again and again.

I had to move an old, long-deprecated Joomla website to a WordPress installation, with more than 600 articles. The plugin worked just fine and was able to retrieve it all, be it articles, categories or medias.
One small thing was that it did not retrieve the pages, but I’m not sure if this is in the paid version (I used the free plugin), anyway copying some pages by hand is way easier than copying 600 articles by hand right?

I recently purchased the Premium version of Frederic Gilles’ ‘Joomla to WordPress’ Plugin, which is an extraordinary product.
The plugin did exactly what it was supposed to do, moving all of my content successfully from Joomla to WordPress. This is a task which would have taken me weeks to achieve were it not for this excellent plugin.
I had a number of pre-sale questions, and Frederic and his team answered them with enthusiasm and skill.
I also purchased the ‘All Videos’ add-on, so that I could have my videos displayed – this alone would have been a nightmare to achieve, as I have videos in a large number of places within my site.
I would highly recommend Frederic Gilles and his team, and I am so pleased that I discovered their wonderful resources.
