This is a nice simple ticker but unfortunately it appears that it’s no longer being supported by the author so use with caution.

I tried it on two sites. On both it ignored where I put the shortcode and placed the ticker at the top of the page.

I have just come across your plugin and I like it very much. I am using it in one of my clients websites and it really does the job. I still have a suggestion to make it even better: It would be nice to add the possibility of choosing a given Custom post Type in back-end for example news or events etc instead being limited only to Blog entries.

I was using a different ticker script I had manually coded into the theme using it but this one works better and looks great. Easy to customise and change settings.

I tried many ticker and scrolling news plugins. This is simply the best of them. It’s simple, customizable, and rich-featured. Also I managed to make it work in a single site for both RTL and LTR with a bit of css code added to to the style.css and rtl.css of the theme. Also don’t forget that it’s totally free, while some of the plugins I met were very poor while the PRO version doesn’t seem to come near this. Thanks for the author.

It seems to be a nice friendly useful plugin.
When shall it be updated?
I don’t see any point to release plugins for old versions…
