For at least several days now, the plugin has not been working. I just noticed it, so it could be much longer. When I try to log into my Filament account, for example, I get a Server not found error. Assuming Filament’s website wouldn’t be down so long, I’m thinking the plugin is not linked correctly.
What’s going on? Any help would be appreciated.
]]>I’m not sure when it started, but the Flare has stopped showing Facebook share counts for my site.
]]>I’m getting a bunch of “Extraneous Property” errors in Facebook’s sharing debugger tool, like:
Extraneous Property
Objects of this type do not allow properties named ‘filament:is-author’.
Extraneous Property
Objects of this type do not allow properties named ‘filament:is-category’.
Extraneous Property
Objects of this type do not allow properties named ‘filament:is-front-page’.
… there’s about 20 of them.
It also shows this:
Parser Mismatched Metadata
The parser’s result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched.
Anybody know what can be done about this? Thanks for any help.
]]>Hi,
I`ve received a notification from google search console that my site has blocked Javascript resources.
Testing my site with the “fetch as googlebot”-tool shows me that there is this file requested:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=filament_googleplus_jsonp&_wpnonce=f1c0827d96&url=https://example.com/&callback=Filament.SocialStats.parseStats.googleplus
This file is blocked however due to the standard robots.txt file.
Please update your plugin to make sure this file won’t be requested for visitors or at least for bots/spiders.
]]>The home page of my website shows multiple Post Excerpts. If you click on any of them you will be brought to the actual post page where you can then share them and see the flare count.
My question is, can I show the flare count on the post excerpts on the home page. I don’t need to show the share icons, just the total flare count.
Hi,
I love this plugin! I previously had the flare set up on the left side of the website https://www.eyeontheprincetontigers.com/, and on my screen it appeared to be in the orange space between the sidebar and the edge of the screen. But for others, the social sharing cuts off the sidebar. Is there a way to make sure it doesn’t cut off the sidebar?
Thanks!
]]>This plugin isn’t doing anything at all. Do you need the pro version to do anything? If so, please cut the false advertising.
Highlighting text does not bring up the share thing, as I’ve seen it do on other sites. I tried adding Ivy too, but when I do, it seems to indicate it’s already installed.
And what’s with the window telling you to highlight your own text on your page and ‘create your first Ivy’? Even that doesn’t do anything, but are you saying you have to create your own phrases for other people to share?

]]>I know the process all too well, it might be because of the new wordpress version 4.0. An ETA on when we might receive an update?
]]>I’m running flare on my website timtopham.com and finding that while it works well on laptop, when on iPad (in either landscape or portrait mode), the flare sharing buttons cover the left edge of the content. I can’t work out how to move it, but there doesn’t seem to be any white space anyway. Seems to work OK on iPhone as it remains hidden anyway.
Let me know me if there’s a solution! Thanks, Tim.

Sharing buttons are not working on iPhone and iPad.
They don’t even work on your demo site.
]]>Impressive. Your plugin actually caused the same problem to me.
Read this similar thread.

After deactivating your plugin i was then able to delete my other installed plugins.
Not cool.
]]>That’s what I get after installing the Filament plugin, adding my snippet code via the plugin, then configuring Flare via app.filament.io.
]]>I was not able to post or save anything in WordPress. It would just go to an error page upon updating, publishing, even saving data in other plugins.
I went through and deactivated one plugin at a time and Filament was always the one that if I turned it on, this would happen.
]]>I know this is still in beta, so i want to point out that your js code takes too long to load. I have been testing it with webpagetest and the result is unacceptable. As high as 1286ms. Although it is loaded async, the flare icons still takes a long time to appear.
Only flare is enabled.
