Filetype Icons is just what i was looing for! I wanted to display icons before document links (f.e. pdf files) and it does that in a beautiful way. The plugin is easy to install and easy to use.
Maybe i have somehow missed it, but it would be helpful to have an overview that shows which file types are supported. And an option to display the file size.

It would also be useful not to use only global settings but to decide on an individual basis (the moment you insert a file link) about:
– use that icon type
– use that icon height
– show icon size: yes/no
