Can filters be customized to appear as a dropdown list instead of tabs?

Inside child filter images are not showing based on that categories filter

The right margin of the website breaks when I activate the plugin in Google Chrome.

I have activated and deactivated all the plugins, and I discovered that the margin breaks when I activate Filter Gallery in Google Chrome.
I have the new updated version of WordPress and use the Bridge theme. Could you help me with this?

When I use the plugin with Divi theme, and set it inside Code module, I get the following error message in the console. It seems that plugin still works fine, but the error is present: https://prnt.sc/_OXTicDYPNKM

I am having a lot of issues with the plugin.

Filters I apply do not stick. I spent hours assigning the correct filters to each image , so i could create a book library.and these have now randomly changed. this is a major issue as each book has to be in its correct category

Also the ‘load more’ does not work.

Does the plugin have known conflicts or should I request a refund?

Every time a filter is clicked, a check mark appears in the button. This does not go away when selecting another filter.

Thank you for this great plugin. I have created over 125 galleries using this plugin and love how it functions. I am trying to edit a few of the galleries (add/remove categories and add new images) but have not been able to make the changes. I am able to open the albums, and make filter edits but when I click the save button I get a blinking dot in the bottom right corner of the page but the changes never save. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i tried to install your plugin and got 500 server error directly from my wordpress install, when i download your zip and upload it on my server (with the file requester) no problems.
I didn’t have any issue with other plugins.

I am liking the look of this plugin, currently looking at and trying out the free version with the thought of purchasing the pro version.

Is there a way to have some descriptive text underneath the filter links so that when pressing one of the filters the images change and there is some text above the images describing what this filter is?

Please can you take out all !important CSS as I want to implement my own design choices and this forces me to use the plugin’s styling.

I have included an example in the post – where I removed this from the CSS so that I can apply my own styling.

I recommend something like this to make it responsive across window sizes:

	margin-inline: 0;
}
.row.ufg-gallery > * {
	flex: 1 0 164px;
	max-width: 300px;
	padding: 0;
	margin-block: 0;
	margin-inline: 0;
}

This will adapt more easily to various sizes and adjust the number of columns to fit.

I am posting this because I know that any future updates will overwrite my changes and I’d like to be able to continue using your plugin going forward rather than making my own.

does the free or the pro version support the filter buttons also as a select dropdown?

reason is that the client has 20 or even more items in a filter.
displaying all this from left to right takes up lots of space.
therefore the idea of a dropdown list.

is this possible with the free or pro version?

I’m using unicode (Chinese characters) for filter names. Everything worked fine when I created a new gallery and assigned filters to images. However, when I tried to edit the galley, all the filters were detached from the images. It seems this only happens when unicode is used in filter names. Could this be fixed or is there a workaround? I have installed the plugin and noticed that the filters do not work if their names contains any special characters except letters and dashes.

Any way to solve this issue so that filter names can include characters like +, \, |, etc.?
