I uploaded the plug-in to a client’s site. The tool is not auto-rotating images and I cannot find the plug-in in the list of installed plugins to remove. Please advise.
]]>Hi,
we are using your plugin which seems to not to work with the plugins Paid Memberships Pro and their extension Register Helper Fields.
We have created some custom fields for image upload there, which is not uploaded to the default Media Archive folder – but to a custom folder.
How can we add support for those uploads in order to get rid of the wrong image rotation there as well?
Kind regards
Henrik Arvedsen
It appears that automatic image rotation is now in WordPress core since 5.3:

]]>Hi! This seems like a great solution so THANK YOU. But is there a way to apply it to previously uploaded images?

Unfortunately we have a lot, and they’re mostly sideways…
Thanks either way!

]]>Can you verify whether the plugin properly removes any temporary files it creates? I ask because I’m running into problems with /tmp filling up on the only site where this plugin is installed. This leads to image upload failures, and ultimately to other problems such as failed plugin updates, which all seem to trace back to /tmp being full. Almost every file in /tmp has a name of the form phpXXXXXX.jpg, where everything between the leading “php” and the “.jpg” extension seems to be a random string.
]]>Have you any plans to put a manual rotate button next to each image in gallery? for when images have been uploaded by other means? Most of my images are imported via plugin called WP All Import, so you plugin doesn’t work for them.
I need a way to rotate images quickly that are orientated incorrectly.
]]>Hi,
Our client is uploading images to the site with the WordPress app from their iPhone, and this plugin isn’t doing anything to fix the rotation issue. Please help.

]]>Hi team,
Does this plugin fix existing images? I currently have 2,000+ images in my media library and I can see a number of them are rotated incorrectly. I would like to be able to fix those images as well as new ones that are uploaded.
Does this plugin fix existing images and if so, how do I run it for those images?
Thanks
Damien
]]>Hi,
Short question: is this plugin GDPR compliant?
Thanks in advance!
Hi
I have a website that I upload pictures to from my phone.
When I take pictures holding my phone horizontally they uploads fine but when I take the pictures holding my phone vertically they turn side ways when the are uploaded.
I installed “Fix Image Rotation” and that issue (pictures uploading side ways) was fixed.
I then installed other plugins like:
* EWWW Image Optimizer
* iThemes Security
* User Role Editor
* WooCommerce
* WP Fastest Cache
and then the issue started again. I noticed that when I deactivate the Woocommerce plugin OR EWWW Image Optimizer (I would leave one of them activated), it worked fine again. However, I would like to use both of those plugins at the same time.
What are the possible causes and how could it be fixed?
Thanks
]]>This plugin is currently broken (on my site).
A quick fix: add this line in “image-rotation-fixer.php” below line 40:
$source = str_replace( ‘/uploads’, ‘/uploads/’, $source );
The problem is the uploads dir is missing a trailing slash.
Hi,
The plugin is working for me on local xampp but when i upload to a live server it’s doesn’t work for me.
What may be the problem?
