]]>The title says it – running the frescochat plugin with “show chat on all pages” breaks an SSL site (i.e. results in an SSL warning about some insecure content), because something somewhere in their code contains some non-SSL calls. I’ve notified them and am awaiting an update from their support – will resolve this topic when they fix it.

I would like to report an error we have when trying to implement the wordpress plugin.
1st problem, it loads another instance or jQuery, without checking if jQuery is already loaded.
2nd, It crashes in every WP themes I tried.
It is the same when I use the <script> snippet directly in my code.
Is the problem on your side? Did I do something wrong?

I have this plugin and Envato FlexSlider installed and there is a conflict between the two. I deactivated FlexyTalk and my slider has come back.
To remdy this I installed several sliders and no luck, the just don’t appear unless I deactivate FlexyTalk which I do not want to do.
So please if you have a cure I would love to know it!

I went through all the stupid steps to get this thing active, everything is set up and connected properly, and I still can’t get the chat box to even show up. There are MANY other wordpress plugins that are a million times more simple to set up and obviously do their job way better than this over complicated system. Ive used a number of other chat plugins that were extremely simple, but this one had better ratings than most (probably fake ratings) so I decided to give it a try. Thanks for wasting an hour of my time to set up something that doesn’t even work. I’ll be going back to a plugin with a 5 min setup.

]]>Now, I know this might be intentional… but the fisrt time a user visits the site… instead of a invitation to chat, they get a ‘Get a chat box like this on your website’ advert, and a FlexyTalk logo.
This wouldnt be so bad if it was just a small logo that linked to the Flexytalk site.
The whole idea of the plugin is to get chats to improve visitor engagement… and primarily on the FIRST visit.
Is there any way to disable this.. or just buy the commercial version?

We are almost done testing the free version, and as mentioned earlier, we were planning to buy the ‘pro’ version.
Today I wanted to buy a few agents, but the pricing is completely changed?
The $48 per year for the first agent and $35 for every additional agent is suddenly removed from the website? We can now only find the $7,50 per agent per month, which is almost TWICE as much for the first agent, and over twice as much for every next agent!
I do understand price changes, but doubling the price is a bit ridiculous.
We came on board with the offer for even $48 total for two agents, but understand the change to $48 for the first agent and $35 for the next, but this new pricing is a bit strange and out of proportions. Also, nowhere we have seen any announcements about upcoming price changes or ending dates on the WordPress/Joomla offers on the website.
Questions:
1) Are these offers, we build our decision for FlexyTalk on, still available?
2) What are the pricing policies in general over time, not to have a 300% price change next year or such.

Somehow since this week, when a customer enters our website for the first time, they get the chat-box opened right away with ‘Thanks for stopping by….’. Is this a new behavior we need to config somewhere, since this was not happening before?
Also, the responses of the chat seems quite some slower this week, the asynchronous load takes about 8+ seconds now, where is was about 2+ seconds before. And, sometimes navigating to other pages of the customer results in loss of the chat session, but we can’t pin this one, since this problem happens quite randomly.

We have a strange behavior with the FlexyTalk lately. When we answer more then one message to the customer, every ‘second’ chat gets lost, when no reply is recieved from the customer (web client). Let me try to explain:
When I type as a reply to a line from the customer, I type 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 as reply to him, being every number a new chat line. The customer sees this:

When the customer replies after every line it works well. We tried several clients, but they all respond the same. We are still on the ‘lite’ version of FlexyTalk services.
Any idea what causes this?
