I need to update php and if I update php to 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3 the pages where website is using flipboxes become broken. If I deactivate the plugin they start working again. Is this plugin compatible with 8.3?

Is it possible to add an option to have the Link URL for the button open in the same tab, and not open a new tab in the browser.

Hello, I have 2 questions:

1. How do I change the font size and family of the back descriptions?
2. For the Tablet version, the flip box is too big to just show one box per row, can I change the settings so there’s 2 boxes in a row in the tablet mode?

Hey there! Use this plugin with short codes. We were using additional HTML in the Back Description field on flip boxes to add extra links. We noticed today that the HTML is not rendering links, just showing the issue today. Before now the HTML was rendering as expected. Wondering if this could be an issue with the latest update of the plugin? We are on Version 1.8.1

Any ideas?

In prior versions of the plugin we used Font Awesome styling to utilize lighter weight versions of their icons. In the latest update, that code does not render properly on the front end. The icon selection doesn’t appear to utilize other weights or premium Font Awesome icons which we have paid to access. Any thoughts?

I’m looking for a flip box solution where 1) I can display one flip box at a time that 2) flips on a manual click instead of on hover, and 3) that can be displayed in a slideshow or have a mechanism/arrow included to click to a new flip box on screen.

Already add the adicional css to the site:

Hello. I’ve discovered that if the boxes are flipped upon mouse hover, then this does not meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (as explained here). So is there a way to only activate the flip action upon the user clicking/selecting the box, instead of just hovering?

I really like the flipbox with image and want to use it, but it is too big for my website. The website isn’t online yet, so I can’t show it. Can you tell me how to change the size of the flipbox? I have looked in the .css file, but I am a nitwit and don’t know how to change it. Any help or a pointer in the right direction is appreciated. I checked the other questions and answers, even tried the suggested custom css, but nothing seems to work.

Hi, it seems a recent update doesn’t allow html code in backend description, is this a bug or has been removed. I previously had href tags but now as soon as I add them back in it breaks the formatting/style of the flipboxes.

I am trying to use the FlipBoxes plugin to create a lead generation tool. I put a CF7 short-code on the backside of a flipbox to collect name, phone and email as a prerequisite to viewing a video. It works just fine on a desktop using Chrome but I doesn’t work on my Android using Chrome or my iPad using Safari. On these mobile devices it just flips back and forth and doesn’t let me enter text in the form fields. I played around with Z-index but that didn’t help. Can anyone help? This would be a really useful feature for the plugin.

we love the flip boxes on our website but we are having trouble with the site speed due to the flip boxes plugin. Since we installed it, the site runs painfully slow – we just tried deactivating it an the site was really fast again.

It’s active again now but if we can’t solve the speed issue, we will have to take it off.

Any recommendations for a solution?

I created a shortcode using the Popup Anything plugin. I would like the button on a flipbox to display the popup rather than take the user to a URL link. Is this possible? If so what is the syntax? Or does the ability to create a popup containing multiple URL links instead of taking user to a single URL link exist with the Pro version?

In the editor, everything looks great. When viewing the live site, the flip boxes do not retain/show the selected background colors…just white.

plugin not showing correctly on safari browser, fine on chrome

I’ve tried to troubleshoot the CSS but not having much luck. I have a few flipboxes created, they look fine in preview, but when placed on a page, the box heights are incorrect. I’m sure it’s something to do with the theme.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Is there a way to specify the scaling of the boxes for breakpoints? I have 3 columns with 6 boxes. Looks great until I start reducing the screen size. It drops to one column around 999px. It would be great to have the flip boxes scale proportionately heightxwidth.

Would it be possible to add CSS that would create a border around one flip box layout and not another? I was able to successfully add it to all types by adding the following CSS. If possible I would like it only to apply to Layout 5. Please let me know. Thank you!

My client is reporting issues with his view of flip boxes. It seems like the issue may have been reported before. If so it’s still happening. As I write this I am on the current version 1.7.1.

whenever we load the flip boxes plugin the page loads with text appearing on the right and after loading the fixes on its own.
