Hi, is anyone using flying pages + linguise?
I seem to have a problem, with flying pages preloading all the languages, which gives me timeout errors.
Also it does no cache these pages?
Can I make flying pages only preload one specific page?
Flying pages seems to be working great in firefox and chrome on mobile and web. However within Safari, its as if the plugin has no effect what so ever. I have It set to very aggressive and it does not preload anything. I have tried to make the settings less aggressive thinking Safari is blocking aggressive prefetching, however that did not work either
I was upgrading WordPress to latest version 6.5.5
Then I got a critical error pointing to the Flying Pages plugin.
WordPress-Version 6.5.5
Aktives Theme: Mesmerize PRO (Version 1.6.173)
Aktuelles Plugin: Flying Pages (Version 2.4.6)
PHP-Version 8.2.9
Any explanation why the plugin is removed and should I remove it from my install as well?
I have been using this plugin for a while and I am really happy with it. Today, I was reading about the official Speculative Loading plugin and I was wondering if the two can work together or if it would be redundant. In that case, which one is better and why?
Hi, is teh pre-loading plugin compatible with BuddyBoss?
On a BuddyBoss website (similar to Facebook or other social media platforms), several users can be online at the same time as its a member website. Does the plugin work in such a scenario to pre-load pages for each user or will that crash the website quickly?
Hello,
I always have this great plugin running just fine with WP Fastest Cache but for a specific project I need to use W3 Total Cache. Any known conflicts with W3 or settings adjustments?
Thanks.
Hi there,
When using Flying Pages and I add an item to the basket using AJAX (the issue appears with AJAX disabled as well), the item is added to the basket but then when I either go to another page or refresh the current page, it removes that item from the cart.
I am using the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce and Flying Pages. I also have a license for FlyingPress which I am using too.
On FlyingPages I have excluded the following keywords, but the issue still seems to be there:
/wp-admin
/wp-login.php
/cart
/checkout/
/checkout/#billing
/checkout/#delivery
/checkout/#payment
add-to-cart
logout
#
?
.png
.jpeg
.jpg
.gif
.svg
.webp
add-to-basket
add to basket
/basket/
/my-account/
/checkout/
/products/*
/products//
/product/*
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
So the plugin was working wonderfully for months. I am really not sure what happened in the past couple weeks, maybe a wordpress or woocommerce update broke the functionality. but when a customer is browsing by category and start to add items to the cart, different error messages shows up like ‘security check failed’ and ‘cart item not found’. sometimes the item is added in cart but when the customer goes to the cart or checkout page the item would be gone.
I thought the problem is with caching, but I have disabled object cache pro and Cloudflare caching and the problem presists. Only if i disable the flying pages plugin the problem goes away and all customers would be able to add to cart without problems.
Hi, recently i noticed that prefetch is not working for logged in users (non-admins), though it is still working for guests. Earlier it used to work for logged in users as well.

Hi support!
Searching for a cache preloading solution, I came across Flying Pages today.
Please let me inform you, using Query Monitor plugin, it gave Warnings:
Undefined array key “mouse_hover_only” > wp-content/plugins/flying-pages/settings/settings.php:16
Undefined array key “disable_on_login” > wp-content/plugins/flying-pages/settings/settings.php:20
I don’t know why, but the warnings seem to be gone now.
Are the images excluded from preloading to safe data for mobile users?
By the way, what would be really great I think, would be to also preload for (Google, Bing) spiders and bots. Does that happen? Because google renders pages right? That would be good for SEO I Think ??
Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.
P.S. I don’t know whether add-to-cart needs to be translated, but toevoegen-aan-winkelwagen (Dutch language) does not fit on 1 line:
toevoegen-aan-
winkelwagen
Hi @gijo ,
Good day! ??
I have an technical issue with your Flying Pages plugin which I need your help with please. I am trying to optimize my WordPress site that is served through Cloudflare.
I recently installed the Flying Pages plugin, however, upon tweaking the settings I came across an error message in compatibility tab:
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in *local server info/mywebsite*/wp-content/plugins/flying-pages/settings/compatibility.php on line 22
? “no-store” is found in your Cache-Control response header. Please contact your hosting provider to remove this.
I read a www.ads-software.com thread from about 2 years ago and you advised the individual with my same situation I’m dealing with now to remove the “no-store” or “entire line completely” and add the following to their .htaccess file:
Header set Cache-Control “max-age=5”
How does this work with changing the “no-store” cache control header in Cloudflare? Can I use the same code as stated above or is there a different approach to solving my issue that you can advice me to work with please?
Looking forward to your response.
Thank you

could you please add a filter for ignore keywords, so that I can add keywords programmatically? This would increase your compatibility for other plugins.

Hi there! First I want to congratulate you for the excellent work. Sincerely thanks! A sensational tool!
For users logged into a woocommerce store, the plugin should not preload, as there is no cache and ends up generating a lot of meaningless server requests. Is there any way I can disable this process when the user is logged in? For example a cookie or something?
Thank you for your support!
I would love to create a whitelist of pages to preload instead of the blacklist currently used in the settings.
Sometimes I have dozens of links in a page and it takes so much time to preload them (even a limited number per second) and it blocks the user from accessing one of the links fast if that link hasn’t been preloaded yet.
I just need the plugin to function for a select group of links. Maybe a whitelist?
When I activate the plugin, the home page goes blank. The HTML(with <template/>
)is loaded, but the VueJS app doesn’t seem to get loaded and executed. Is FlyingPress compatible with RESTful themes?
What is it preloading if my site doesn’t use Page cache or Browser cache?
I am using CDN + Redis cache only as my site is very dynamic and the cache doesn’t work very well with many of the dynamic features. Will Flying Pages work for my site or no?
I not confirm. But when 8 months ago, i used Instant.page. After few weeks i got Invalid Activity with my AdSense account. Luckily I got a temporary suspension for 28 days.
Your plugin is better than others. Because it can preload link without hover. I like it. But please clear, is this safe if I am using Google AdSense on my website?
Another question. What is no store in http header.

Hi, are there any hooks and filters available with this plugin, which I can use to fine-tune its behaviour?
I’ve just installed this plugin for the first time – it works amazingly, huge improvement!
However, I noticed that when I open the dropdown menus at the top of my page, all of the other pages listed on the menu are immediately preloaded. This effectively means the user preloads almost the entire website just by opening a couple of menus.
Personally I’d prefer that the menu items are only preloaded on hover, and not simply when the menu is opened.
Is there a filter I can use to control this, eg. by filtering out the menu class, so that it only uses preloading on mouse hover?
Hey,
So I have customised my admin login urls (and put other settings in place to block the defaults) so that brute force attempts are more or less impossible.
However, I’ve had a few attempts recently, leading me to check how on earth they could have found the URL. It’s then I spotted that FP includes it in the Ignore List whether it’s manually there or not. Taken from this part of your inject-js.php.
ignoreKeywords: '.json_encode(get_option('flying_pages_config_ignore_keywords'), true).',
Now, caching/minifying etc is a multilayer beast so there’s a chance that, although it’s your code, it’s not FP itself causing the exposure. But as it’s your JS I wanted to start there.
Is there any way to modify your code to exclude the admin URLs from appearing publicly in the ignore list (or at all, preferably)?
Thanks!
Hello,
I got an alert from GSC for a given site where they found 4 duplicates of existing pages with those strange slugs:

Are those pages generated by this plugin or should I check elsewhere?
Thanks!

Hi, after installing the plugin there is a wp rocket warning about incompatibilities:
WP Rocket: The following plugins are not compatible with this plugin and may cause unexpected results:

Hi,
Love this plugin, it really makes a massive difference on some sites.
But I wonder if there’s a function call I can use to start Flying Pages.
I know it’s always running, but I’m clearing a cache via a function in my child theme (functions.php) and wondered if I could call up Flying Pages too.
Or is this not necessary?
I’m uncertain if Flying Pages works on a site without visitor interaction, i.e. it would re-build a cache without Cron or human visit which is why I ask.
